Any advice on where to do the medical exam in the US Mid West? I would really appreciate any personal experience with these physicians.

I don't see any panel physicians in Ohio or Indiana currently.
The next nearest is in Louisville, Kentucky. But no appointments for the next 45 days.
Farthest among these options and the most expensive is UPMC, Pittsburgh. Appointments available in mid-June.
Earliest appointment and cheapest of these options are in West Bloomfield, Michigan.

I wanted to, as it was the closest to me. But I think the center itself was closed recently and removed from the list of approved panel physicians. Thanks.

That doc was doing this for 20 odd years as per conversation. .will check for anything new and let you know

I've been trying to find the office number for the panel Physician in West Bloomfield but am having trouble. Called three offices yesterday all of which said he worked there/worked there in the past but didn't do the medical exam at their location. Even got a hold of another Dr Sherman yesterday who said he was retired but wasnt the panel physician I was loooking for. Tearing my hair out here. For those that saw Dr. Ronald Sherman, what was the number you were able to reach? Was it the one associated with the canadian directory?

If the Canada border is close, consider going there. It is way cheaper, lots of options and lots of appointments available. The doctors are also more experienced with this and much more flexible. Getting Visitor Visa to Canada is not hard.

I saw Dr. Lutz in Cincinnati and he was great. It's a shame his practice seems to be gone.

If I were you, if Louisville is closest by a lot I'd wait the 45 days and go there unless I really felt like doing a long weekend in Chicago or St. Louis. You don't want to have to go far away for follow-up testing if it ends up being needed - if you can avoid it. We were stuck going 3 hours for the medicals at minimum and just had to take the chance. At least St. Louis and Chicago are both good cities for a weekend away if that's what you have to do!
