Proof of Funds: Format of Gift Deed, Affidavit and LOE

Hi friends

I don't have my parents, my brother is married and we both have 12 acre our own land and we are showing j form of almost 9 lac. So which affidavit need to be attached for supporting the funds that my brother is supporting me. Please reply as soon as possible and the format of affidavit if possible.

He cannot support you by showing joint land in ur name.
For POF, if he wants to help you, he can transfer your required pof amount in ur account and you can show that he transferred that amount for a certain amount/whole land sold in his name by you. You can make a sale deed even on a stamp paper for that in english and get it notarized. It will count as proof.(It will be between you and your brother)

Alternatively, he can make a gift deed and affidavit and transfer money to your account.

I a looking to liquidate assets as soon as I get an ITA, I want to sell my car as this will give me enough money for proof of funds. Do I need to keep it in my account or I can just show documentation to support these funds. Can my PR application be denied because the funds have not been in y account for 6 months?

Hi, I have received my ITA in April. But for POF i don’t have enough balance so my dad is going to give me a Fixed Deposit of the required amount. Now as it’s not going to be 6 months old so I will get the gift deed and affidavit process done. But I wanted to know do i need to show my 3 saving account statements and 3 credit card statements alongwith that? or just the fixed deposit wirh gift deed will do?

i got the ITA last week and now figuring out the POF. I'm currently having no bank saving account which is 6 months old. I only have bank statement which states my monthly salary whose balance is not enough.

• For the minimum required amount for 1 family member ($12,300), I intended to ask my father give $12,300 as a gift to me, then I will prove it as gift deed. Or the 2nd option, I will ask my father transfer the ownership of the house to me, then I'll liquidate house and deposit the money into my account. For the 2 options, I'm just afraid of the "6 months old" concern.

• The last option is to ask my father transfer the ownership of his bank savings to me which is already more than 6 months, but the amount of money is much more than $12,300.

In the gift deed letter, I see that we need to mention the Place. But my sister is in Indian, where as I am in US and she is going to transfer the amount to my account. In that case how should I present the gift deed letter? How to sign as witness?

From what I've seen in groups and forums, I think its always best to show all investment, credit and loan accounts.
Still, this is just my opinion. You should research or ask more people before making Ur decision.

Most of the people have mentioned parents and siblings (basically relatives) who have gifted them money. I have gifted my boyfriend money for CA immigration. We're planning to get an affidavit to declare the same. Just wanted to know if anyone knows if the lack of a legal relationship would cause any issue to prove the validity of this gift deed/ affidavit?

But, even though i don’t have any impending loans then also i have to show the statement- and fixed deposit as a gift deed- in that the deposit has to be made in my name and then gift deed process has to be done- right?

Yes you have to show statement of 6 months.
Although, not necessary that money should be in ur account for 6 months if you take a gift deed.

Hello All,

I had a question on POF. I have started funding my bank account in this month itself ( MAY 2018) previously i was not using this account. Now i have my WES and IELTS ready. My score is 476 which means i would get an ITA in the next draw itself. But since i have started funding my account now should i wait for another 3-4 months to get into the EE pool or should i show the source of funds( gift deed etc.) and get into the pool right away?

Please help!
