Where should i send the completed application? Ottawa or Mississauga ?

From the application package, it says send "Mail your completed application to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga, Ontario." https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/sponsorship-parents-grandparents.html

From the letter of invitation and guide (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5772-application-sponsor-parents-grandparents.html#specs) sending the application by a courier service, use the following address (no public drop-offs):

Recipient (centre of the envelope)
CPC-M-PGP
PO BOX 8020, STN T CSC
Ottawa, ON
K1G 3H6

Please clarify

Thank you.

One more question " which is recommended courier to send the application package to Ottawa" ?
Where are you located? I just used Canada Post Express and it was delivered next day. In Ontario/GTA. But they do not guarantee the timing. If you want them to, use Priority.

Hi All, I have a question.. My parents are oversea, they have printed /signed the applications and mailed them to me. I was doing the final check yesterday and noticed two mistakes on the form. I updated them and then i noticed that the number on the bottom right corner changed!!! I was thinking i can just replace the old copy with the updated page, but since the numbers are different.. am i in trouble now?? :(:(:(:(

Hi,

there are some requirements for co-signer( if she had sponsored anyone before) just see if she is eligible then you are good to go.

Good Luck

she never sponsored anyone before.....worked for only 2 years i..e.. 2015-2016,....... having PR from past 5 years and staying in Canada
is there any other requirements? what if she does not work in future?

Your best bet is to use Canada Post Priority service.

Hi, I was selected for PGP 2018 and I have sent my application for my parents by canada post on 24th April 2018 and CIC office Ottawa has received it on 25th April 2018. After that I got nothing(email or mail) from CIC.How long they would take time to send me confirmation? Did anybody get anything? thanks...

Ok, good news is that you can still get it fixed but you have to move fast! Fix the errors in the forms on your PC/ Laptop, email the documents to your parents, then ask them to download > validate > save > print. And then ask them to sign and courier it back to you via the fastest courier option of DHL or fedex. If they do it in a day, you will get those documents back by 22 (if couriered by May 15). While you are waiting for the documents to come from your parents, keep other documents ready to go.

On 23rd May, which is Wednesday, send the complete package via Priority option of Canada Post, you will be fine. Remember, only Canada Post will be able to deliver the application package to the PO Box address in Ottawa; and do not send the documents to Mississauga address.

Its not worth to take the risk of sending wrong documents.

hello all,

I have sent my paper application by mail two weeks ago and since then I have not received any confirmation from IRCC. is there anyone out there in the same boat as I am and every time I try to link my paper application it does not work. any help or insight is much appreciated.

thank you
hi, yup , i am in the same boat as you my friend. i applied by mail and did not get any confirmation . linking the paper application online is not working for me either. i think they probably have not even looked at the applications yet.

any body who applied in 2018 got any response from IRCC ?

also is there any tracker/excel sheet etc to track out progress ? it would be a good idea to have 2018 sponsorship parents tracker
