Proof of funds

Hello i would just like to ask if savings300k + 1M Investment funds are considered as aproof funds for me to be approved at the embassy for study and work program that i am applying for?

which are you applying for, is it a study permit or a work permit? to be clear, if you are applying for both at the same time, you will be refused

in what currency are your savings/funds been recognize???

I am applying for a Co-op program. And the currency is Peso.

I recently emailed Canada Visa Center here in our country and i asked if it can be use as a proof of funds but they said it can be used as a Financial Documents.
So what does it mean?

Investment funds are not really open to you to spend but a guarantee to secure your funds for either future purpose which normally every Investment fund account has a certificate to show and it can be use as a document

whilst proof of funds are funds available or open to you at any given time without delay or certain restrictions just like your regular bank account which you withdraw cash from on daily basis

Investment certificate can be use to boost your chances, supporting your bank statement(proof of funds) showing the availability of cash not in investment funds

In all, not that only an investment certificate can't help out but its always best to compliment a Bank statement with it as it improves your financial strength to the VO
