coz my PCC and Medical will expire if I don't get another ITA in next 2 months :(
I got everything ready after receiving ITA in January, dont feel like doing that all over again, and more importantly, want to just get it over with.

Wait a minute, you received ITA in Jan with 439? What happened?
Also, how will the PCC, medical expire so soon. If you got them in Jan, aren't they valid at least for a year?

even if you take IELTS, by the time you get a slot and get results, they could still expire. if PCC and medical aren't as expensive as IELTS in your country, then I would suggest to redo them when you get an ITA.
P.S. My IELTS scores are exactly same as yours. You will have tough time topping that and would be wasting money.
i did better at IELTS Academic 2 years ago. This time around, just didn't bother to study. I think I can get 7.5 in writing if I try one more time. I'm not worried about L,R and S tests, coz got similar bands in IELTS Academic as well. Medical and PCC cost me around $1000 :( IELTS will also cost around $800-$900, considering the fact I must travel to the capital twice in order to take the test.

Shocking it is. Most people are saying everyone increased their score and go into 450s but I think you're right, it is the nominations which got people an extra 600 points. Hard to believe that 1200 people entered the pool with scores between 440 and 500 between May 4 and 8, almost like 250 per day. It has to be the nominations. May be 500 to 700 in nominations making peoples score above 800 and the other 500 people through regular entry with scores 440-500.
I was thinking nominations gives additional 600 points. If that is true then do not consider anyone below 600 as nominated from a province but rather their own score.

They say that when you are submitting your application, your medical should not be older than 6 months. Else, CIC will ask you to get it done again. And lol, I just remember, nope, Medical and PCC didn't cost me $1000, but $1600, lol. I had forgotten about the cost of trips made to the capital.

I know, but its just that CIC asks you to do it again, if its older than 6 months. They don't reject your application, but yo must have a valid medical report when you land in Canada.

Yes we do get such notification in our email account when any modification is done in our express entry but don't know what kind of message we get when recieving ITA.

profile
You get an ITA letter in CIC account. And this is the update you got in your email.

I wonder how long will it take to receive ITA via that?
For anyone looking to go OINP, it's not a "fast track" at all. I've been sitting with an application since the 24th of March with no movement, so I understand there are lots of variables and there is a backlog. Maybe 2-4 months to get the extra 600 points, after you've paid the CAD 1500.

There should be a rule that your score gets fixed once your profile is transmitted. Just like your points won't go down for a b'day after accepting an ITA, if you're waiting in line for your turn your points shouldn't go down for a b'day.

They prefer the younger lot. I don't think they will ever introduce this kind of rule :(
