Hey everyone had a quick question about the proof of funds and Wells Fargo. Have any of you in the US had any experience with them? Wondering if they issue a letter or not, and what did you all send out to CIC for the proof of funds?

Six months online statements is all you need. Make sure they are in color.

How do we upload all documents in one PDF though? Can we zip them up?

No zip. Use pdf tools like acrobat pro dc (trial is available for 7 days use) to combine pdfs. You can also check online tool at smallpdf.com, however websites like these are vulnerable to threats.

Why do we need colored? Is it mentioned on ircc website to use color pdf files? Just wanted to know if i may have missed

Can we scan the paper statements that are mailed to me every month? My online statement show both checking and savings but the paper ones are savings only.

Yes u can. Make sure it includes all ur savings, investment and current account you are holding with the bank. Get and scan statements for past six months. Since they require a letter head get all the information/balance for each account on bank letterhead as well.

You can get the standard proof of fund letter on WF letterhead if you visit WF branch in person. Only issue is, they list the accounts and the balance in them as of the date the letter was printed as that's all the template allows them to do. The branch manager at my local WF was more accommodating and he prepared 6 separate letters for me listing ending balance for each of the previous 6 months to show the history. The letter was provided to IRCC as part of E-APR package and I have received a PPR.

I contacted WF customer service for the 'Proof Of Deposit' letter but they wanted $10 for it. One more reason to leave WF, I guess.

Just wanted to update everyone I spoke with a friend of mine who works in Wells Fargo and apparently we can bring our sample bank letter with whatever account we want them to show to them and they will be able to print it out and stamp it. I asked her if they can show only the Savings account and she said they would be able to. I will post updates after I am done collecting those letters (Hopefully it works out)

Do you have access your online statements? All that what your doing is unnecessary. All I did was save the last six months statements and uploaded them with my application.
