Thanks, i might use them since they seem to be the only ones in The Netherlands providing the service. What company did you use to send the prints to the RCMP?
I did mine from Canada and went into an office in Scarborough, ON to get the RCMP certificate and submitted it with the application upfront, so a different process. I used Fingerscan.ca/Worldwide Forensic Services Inc. and found their service easy.

Vienna just emailed me and they want a new Dutch police certificate, they want me to resend schedule A and fill in my activities since i was 18 years old and they want me to send in a RCMP criminality check. All within 30 days. Does anyone know where i can get fingerprinted for the RCMP check in The Netherlands or surrounding countries?

They have emailed me asking again for the same documents that they have asked you to provide but( except the police certificate + the RCMP check)
because they still have a valid one .
Btw I have my medicals passed since November 2017
And made an interview in March 14 2018.
How long it will take more !?
I hope all get a good news soon !

Hi Everyone!
I have just joined this forum.
For those of you that live in Canada and have sponsored your spouse from Germany. Could you please indicate if you have applied for a German civil marriage certificate, and have you received and submitted one to Vienna office. If yes, could you please mention how long did it take you to apply and get one issued.
If you have not applied for German marriage certificate then how did you proceed that have convinced Vienna office to process your application. I would really appreciate your feedback and thank you!

We had a German civil marriage certificate issued to us at the "Standesamt" where we had the civil marriage ceremony. We also got an "international" version which did not require translation. We sent a photocopy with our application to the processing center in Toronto which was later passed on to Vienna. Good luck!

@rjhicks, my GCKey status also changed to approved last week. We must be close ...

I didn't get any replies from Vienna, but they must read the e-mails as they updated my mailing address shown in ECAS as requested in the mail.
We arrived in Vancouver last Saturday but unfortunately I couldn't do the landing procedure without the CoPR letter.

It's funny, we're once again in the same situation! We're now in Hamilton, and like you I know they read my emails because they changed my address recently when I asked them to!

Still no news for us, just waiting for the postman each day...

Hi, my husband and I had both our civil and church wedding in German and we had the civil wedding certificate which was issued when we got married. We had this translated and certified and submitted it with our application. Unfortunately our application has passed the one year mark and we are being as patient as we can until we hear back from them. We submitted everything as requested from them and now I am asking my MP to look into this matter as there are applicants after us who are being processed (our case is very straight forward). Will let you know when we hear something back.

Thank you very much for the response!
Hopefully you get you from soon!

Standesamt told us that it will take them 3 to13 months to issue a marriage certificate as they have a lengthy authentication process.

I hope to visit Canada soon, so i dont know if i should do my fingerprints here or wait until im in Canada. It seems the process there is much more straightforward and like you did in the past i could just walk into an office and get the whole thing done. Vienna seems to have extended my deadline till July 3rd so its an option.

We're still waiting for Pre-Arrival Services. Hopefully we receive it this month or early June, fingers crossed!

In the mean time, I'm leaving this Friday for 10 days to visit my wife. :)
October applicant...also waiting for pre-arrival. Hopefully Vienna has good news for us soon!

You also have to take into account the wait time to get the RCMP certificate back once the fingerprinting is done. I don't recall mine taking very long at all to get back to me though.
