On whose name should be proof of funds?

Me and my wife has applied for EE.
My wife is primary applicant and i will be dependent.

Some amount is in my name (i.e. my bank savings, FD in my name) and some of the funds are in her name(i.e. her salary account and her FD).

Shall i transfer all funds in her name (as she will be primary applicant)???

Well you can transfer the money in her account but you might be required to break the FD. Better keep them separately and when attaching the documents, attach both and append a computation showing total funds available with both of you and it should also proves that you meet the requirement of minimum funds

You can show funds in your name too as you will accompanying your spouse. Sign a self declaration stating no objection to your spouse using the funds and that the funds are readily available to them.
