Yes we had applied for OINP but its been almost two months and the status is still submitted....no progress....
What? This is so scary.. What's your CRS score? If draws get to 437, I will use speed of light in withdrawing my app. I need that 1500cad back. I submitted my NOI April 11.

Your distribution between 431 and 440 is pretty good based on the info we have. However, three draws in three weeks may not happen. If there are back to back draws, let's say on 9th and 16th, then there might be a two week gap until the next one (May 30th) or may be on 9th and then 23rd and 30th. If, somehow, you prediction turns out to be true and we have three in a row, the scores could drop down to 433.
Hello Hopers!! Posting something after a long time. Been here since old timers who have already made their way to Canada, while I still await my turn..!! Just that I jumped last week from a 402 to 434 ( with a Credential approved by WES). Now hoping against hopes..!!

Just to throw some light here, few observations:

1. In 2017, considering all draws by end of April, a total of approx. 36000 ITAs were issued. Cut offs in May saw lowest CRS drops (415 & 413) ever in EE, as CIC retained the no.of ITAs issued to meet their annual targets. Now, while CIC has a slightly higher target number than last year, they should be continuing at the same rate of ITAs being issued, if not higher. The pool currently has around 7000 profiles in 431-440 range. Considering only 2 IELTS results in this May, and other factors, I don’t see a large net addition in the 441+ range happening in May. Fair chances of Cut off falling to 435+/- 2 here by end of May 2018.

2. May 2017 had 4 draws, with 3 large size draws and 1 program specific. Again, till now this year up to April 2018, CIC has issued only 24500 ITAs !! No reason why there can’t be 3 large draws in May 2018 as they are already behind their last year’s numbers despite higher targets. I might sound like going overboard here, but if that happens, the Cut offs might as well touch 430-432 types..!!

All veterans / experts / fellow aspirants ... correct me if wrong.

I would lose another 5 in July. But I hope COME WHAT MAY (2018) !!

TIA!!

Have you ordered a copy (electronic copy) of your ECA to be sent directly to OINP??

My brother was also in the Submitted stage for almost a month as he forgot to do that. Once he did it, his status changed from Submitted to Assessment in 3 days in OINP.

Please note that OINP has introduced a completeness check. Also, they have the right to retain the fees if the delay is from your side to complete the requirements.

This is as per their website, I have read it somewhere, do all checks again at your end.

Thanks!

You will get a refund if application status is submitted. If it goes in assessment then not.

if your score is 441 then hope it stays as submitted till next draw coz you are sure to get a ITA

By your estimate do you think there will be any chances to hit score around 415, like last year, in may or june ??

I have no idea how it happened. Most people here said I will be rejected but keeping my fingers crossed.
If your score is below, you WILL BE rejected.
Most common mistake happens with how the system does calculate your work experience. As it only takes in consideration whole month. So if you started to work in the middle of the month and then in the middle of next month you will have a full year, then the system is already thinking that you have that now and granting you points you should not have yet.
So with that you will waste money and time (1-3 months) and during that time you could not have a normal profile to get the ITA correctly. Because while having application for EE, you cannot have additional profile opened to get a new ITA
Receiving ITA does not mean, that you can automatically accept it if you see that was issued by an error.

Honeslty, I don’t see that happening anytime soon. At least not till June. The influx of profiles, plus the more organised processes of CIC in tandem with the PNPs is what is guiding this year’s draws.

However, can’t rule out that the scores might fall once or twice this year in later part at these levels. Expert analysts can give better insights.

You must try increasing the scores in every possible manner. Keep hopes alive!

Good luck.
