I just immigrated to Canada from India after marriage. We applied for visitor visa while waiting for the PR and luckily got it approved ! Just thought the timestamps of the process and stuff would be helpful, hence sharing it here.
Married on : April 2,2017
--Husband moved back to Canada : April 14,2017 . (I stayed back in India)--
Sent the PR application : June 2,2017
Date CIC received the PR application : June 16, 2017
Date submitted : July 18, 2017
Request for Schedule A, Police verification and medical report : July 28,2017
Acknowledge of Receipt(AOR) from Delhi : Sept 4,2017
Applied Visitor Visa(TRV) : Oct 3,2017
Passport request for TRV : Nov 1,2017
Moved to Canada (as visitor) : Dec 5,2017
Invitation to Pre-arrival services(PR progress) : March 29,2018
Passport request for PR : April 6,2018
Received CoPR + Passport with one-time entry visa to Canada : April 14, 2018
Did flagpoling in Canada-USA border and hence officially became PR on : April 20,2018
