Bad luck with the tie breaker rule. You had applied for OINP earlier right? Any progress on that, has your application moved forward?

Yes we had applied for OINP but its been almost two months and the status is still submitted....no progress....

I'm at 432 since Jan'18. Done with IELTS
L - 8.5 R - 7.5 S - 7.5 W - 7
Don't know if I can get through this year or not. Current trend, global immigration impact etc factors are making it very difficult.
Could any one can give a mathematical prediction for 432? :(

I have even low score of 382 after 3 IELTS attempts. The only hope is PNP. Can't retake IELTS immediately due to some domestic issues.

Any idea when states will offer back to back PNPs??

Without CLB9 it's impossible to to expect ITA. I was stuck in 386 for two years, hoping for the points to come down. But CIC will not break 400 yet. So please figure out a way and retake IELTS and get CLB9 or more. Trust me, spending 12k INR and one month of preparation paid off. from 386 I am at 440 and waiting for ITA in next two draws. Do all you can to increase your score.

What is Tie breaker rule?

Do they consider 3 to 4 months old EE profiles for consideration of ITA's ?
Tie breaker rule is applicable for the lowest score. Not everyone with 44 would receive ITA. The last person to be selected from the pool (3500th person) is the one who submitted his application on Dec 2017 10:35. So anyone who created profile(441+) before that will be receiving ITA, and everyone who created after that will not.

I completely agree with all this. Trying to improve my score but still.... hoping for any miracle PNP.
Did you ever apply for PNP within past 3 years with your scores 386 - 398?

Congratulations Ravi!

What's the secret behind your scores? Lol

I am stuck with L : 7, W : 7.5, R : 8, S 8.5. Overall 8.0

Thanks!

Go through all the Listening videos, they are step-by-step guide videos. Tremendously helpful techniques for all types of question. My score never dipped below 8 in Listening after watching them and using same techniques. Let me tell you, not bragging, my concentration wasn't 100% during the tests after watching them videos still scored 8.0 & 8.5 on two occasions respectively. Good luck.

Not sure why lot of people are confused with the tie breaker rule!

A tie breaker is to decide between people stuck or tied on the cut off. So if the cut off was 441, folks above that score are not tied on the cut off so they get an ITA. Simple!

I mysteriously received an ITA in yesterday's draw despite having a CRS score of only 431. Could this be an error? Has this ever happened to anyone before? Should I:

1. Submit my application and hope for the best.
OR
2. Call CIC and let them know the error.

Any advice given would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well then you're the chosen one! Hallelujah!! :)
