RPRF to PPR timelines

Dear all,


I wanted to know if it's normal to wait for more than 2 months after paying the RPRF fees, after getting my ITA in Jan 2018 I uploaded my documents and got my AOR on the 26th Jan 2018, within 2 weeks I got my medicals update as passed and right after 2 weeks February 2018 I was asked to to pay the RPRF fees and I paid the $490 on 24th Feb 2018, after that my background check status got changed from not applicable to Background verification in progress will contact if any information needed. Was curious to know if this was normal for all applicants who paid there RPRF fees in the last week of Feb 2018, they haven't asked me for any additional documents aswell, infact I have uploaded all the required documents precisely without a miss after checking multiple times.

I have applied for express entry. I hope my application should be fine and can I expect a PPR soon.

Please advise.

For us , here the request time line from IRCC/NDVO.

RPRF request on : 08 FEB 2018
RPRF paid on : 09 FEB 2019 and uploaded the data.
PPR Request : 12 MAR 2018

Definitely you can expect an email soon from local visa office to submit your passport ( PPR Request).

I am in similar situation.

Aor : 21st March
Med passsed : 28th March
Ip2 background check : 28th March
Rprf request/ paid : 6th April

I just called CIC and agent told me mu file is being processed at ottawa and apart from medical nothing is cleared. Eligibility and background check in progress.

Which seems weird because what i heard is that rprf usually requested after eligibility is cleared, but agent told me otherwise.

I understand, I guess since Jan/Feb 2018 the process has been very slow, like I mentioned earlier I paid my RPRF fees in the month of Feb I am yet to receive the PPR request.
Hopefully you should get it soon.
Update once you receive the golden email :0

Hey guys i am in a similar situation too...

I have paid my RPRF on 9th April and along with the submission of my son's medical.

My and my wife's medical passed in November 2017, however my son's addition was done in January 2018 his medical was asked on March 21st and i have submitted Son's medical plus copies of passport plus height eye color details for all family members along with RPRF all on 9th april 2018, but since then i have been waiting. No update no email.

Can any one suggest or comment anything on my case which may be helpful for me.

Hey guys i am in a similar situation too...

Please be patient and soon you will get the Golden email ( PPR request).
We waited for 1 month and and then we got PPR request on mid March 2018..

I called the CIC yesterday, thankfully I was connected to a humble agent, I did ask him about the status of my application and did mention that my AOR was on the 26th Jan 2018 and I got my RPRF request on the 24 feb 2018 and paid it on the same day and mentioned since then no update from CIC for which the CIC agent responded that the my eligibility is not yet confirmed by the agent and my security and background verification hasn't started yet, also mentioned everything looks fine as of now and I am well within in the 6 months timeline and asked me to be patient .
My only apprehension is with regards to my WES report where it shows my bachelors degree as not recognized however my MBA degree is considered to Canadian equivalency to masters degree from which I have taken the points IE I have applied or taken points based on my master's degree. Also on the CIC website they have mentioned that they would consider the highest degree for points. I have a 476 CRS points. Besides this the rest all is fine I presume..

Since you completed RPRF , u r thru with application and ready to get ur COPR ...and wait for Golden email , PPR request... dont worry boss..
