I applied on 27th march at delhi vfs and got medical approved on 3rd arpril. After that no update. Anyone who has applied on same day received any update?

I have a question I'll like anyone who knows to please reply. Is it normal for a the principal applicant's application for a study permit to be finalized and a dependant (dependent on the principal applicant's application) minor who also applied for a study permit 's application to still be in process?

I have submitted my application on Sep 26th and still waiting for a simple Visa.
almost 200 days !

Frds I have applied on 23rd March and have 2 mail form embassy but afterward don't get any mail from embassy like acknowledge mail or any update. College start from 3rd may. Did Canada embassy check and accelerates our file if term is about to start ?

Hello everyone, my name is Faheem. I applied for study permit on 23rd march 2018 as I wish to start my bacherlors degree in simon fraser university stating from may 4th 2018. It was an online application. I am a Bangladeshi citizen and I live in Kuwait. For my country of residence, i.e. Kuwait, CIC mentions that it will take 7 weeks for processing time. Now, it's been 30-31 days and no response yet from CIC. If I got to the VFS website for tracking, it just says your processed passport has been sent to Abu Dhabi. Actually I didn't send the passport as it was an online application. But I did go to VFS for Biometrics. So the real question is, HOW MANY MORE DAYS IS CIC GOING TO TAKE, AS MY CLASSES START SOON. AND WHAT SHOULD I DO IN CASE IT BECOMES LIKE 1ST MAY OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND STILL NO RESPONSE FROM CIC?

Normal processing time passed already and University starting date as well, I didn't send my passport yet as well but it doesn't matter seriously that you send your passport or not
Matter is that they process your application

Thank you for your reply. Just one more question, what about university? Did you inform them about this? I mean, you are missing classes right? Is it possible to start from next semester i.e september . I prefer to start fresh next semester rather than going late and trying to catch with missed classes.

Seriously it doesn't matter
You can email University n you can be allowed two weeks later or more depends


You will get new registration letter from university and try to be there as well
This is their second time it's happening with me, first with Irish student visa and now Canada

Applied on 23rd March offline at vfs banglore, did medicals upfront, yet the medical status it has not been cleared yet. Its been almost a month. Does it take so much long time to get medicals cleared????
