I applied for EOR (BC) on April 11 and after a week(April 18) got the results back. Speaking changed from 6.5 to 7.5

If you are confident that you performed well in Speaking/Writing, then go for EOR.

Super great. You have done well. Band score of 2 or more is definitely a myth.

what if i don't know if i did well in speaking or not for 0.5 improvment.. i got 6.5 but not sure what is the criteria to give 7 or more... so have not applied EOR till now

also can you tell how much you paid for EOR in US?
and was it ELS centre or Eurocenter or which one?

Probably see some of the videos where people have scored 7 and above and try to compare with your test experience. May not be the best way, but that will at least give an idea of what the examiner is expecting for a 7 score.
Also, keep in mind for EOR you need to apply no later than six weeks after the test date.

thanks for reply.. actually i got 8 in L, 9 in R and 7.5 in W... but got 6.5 in S as i got nervous and had anxiety and i know i did not give my best ... and my center asking for $240 for EOR same as full test... so because of these two reasons my i am in dilemma whether to apply ..
people said if its difference of 2 or more.. like mine 9 vs 6.5 then they already get it reviewed by two examiners... please suggest..

Yes, I had to pay full fees for EOR same as test fees. I know that hurts but we do not have an option as well.
It is correct if there is a high score difference, score comes up as jagged and that will be reviewed by 2 examiners.

My centre was Eurocenter

Reading some success rates on the forum gives me a good feeling. Has anyone had any success experience regarding EOR via BC in Nigeria? Applied for EOR in Writing as i was given 6.5. Felt i deserved better than that (at least a 7). Wishing all in my shoes a good luck

I am shocked to see my result as I expected the writing score to be at least 7. Now I wonder should I go for re-evaluation of the score? what do you recommend??

Yes u can go for the evaluation but I think it takes about 11-12 weeks for the results to be declared. I would suggest taking up another exam is better. Atleast process is faster.
