one of my friend applied for May 2018 intake for two year program. She asked me today that her passport is going to expire in January 2019. Will this affect visa approval or not ?? As I dont know abt this so i m posting here.. seeking your advice. Anyone with such experience??

Visa is always approved base on the validity of the passport, if it expires when she is already in Canada.. She can easily renew it there from her country's consulate there and apply for an extension

Till date her file is in queue... my Main question is that will this put any negative impact on her visa approval or not ?
