We had sponsored my parents and submitted all of the required documents after selection. We just had everything returned to us and our fees returned saying that we were ineligible. When we looked there is a blatant error in the 2014 income. CPC has understated our income by almost $6000 to deem us ineligible. This is such a glaring error. The letter says that we cannot appeal this decision. What can we do? Kindly guide us as this has put a tremendous stress in our lives.

What was the source of your income in 2014? Canadian employment only or other sources like regular EI or foreign income? Also has your family size changed from 2014 to 2015 etc.

Email the visa office and tell them about the error. Files can sometimes be reopened. Also, contact your MP.
