Is there no one who can help me in this?? Or can you tell me where can I ask this query???

well, If I were you I would have had raised a GSM note and get the exact status of my file instead of worrying. Actually it varies from case to case, however, you can do a quick check and see how long is it before you have received your EAOR, CIC is scheduled to complete and give results for 95% of the cases within 6 months. So, you can check how many months have passed since you have applied. If its lesser than 6 moths, then don't worry and fill yourself with other duties, you will get your results on time. Hope I make sense here. thanks.....

Hi Guys,

Need some help. Posting here as this seems to be the only bastion of hope left for getting unbiased, practical and real information with none of the BS. Here we go:

My CRS : 433.

EE creation date : December 2017 (CRS was 438 at this point)

NOC : 2174 (Interactive media developers)

Since the hope for an ITA has recently dwindled, I've been trying to know more about PNPs and any other options. In the process, I've contacted a few consultancies and nearly all of them have expressed surprise that I haven't received an NOI yet - could be them trying to sweet-talk me into paying them stating that my profile is excellent and I should've gotten an ITA. But this got me thinking, did everyone above a score of 420 get an NOI from Ontario the last few months, regardless of what NOC they belonged to? Did I just miss the NOI when it came and it expired?!! Secondly, one consultancy said I need to apply separately for onatarion PNP and that the EE alone just won't cut it, but another consultancy refuted this and told me that any separate filing etc need only be done post receiving NOI. But this cons. also stressed that I SHOULD have received an NOI with 438 score (438 until march 15 when it became 433).

I'm all but confused - can someone deconstruct this informational nightmare for me? I really don't care about ITA or NOI - anything is fine and am ready to pay the 1500 CAD. I just want to land in Canada. My IELTS expires this month and I've already appeared for it and should receive the results soon - once I do, do we update existing EE profile or create new one - if both are possible, which is more preferable?

Sorry for the long post - I didn't have time to make it shorter.

I think what all consultancies failed to tell and most important thing is that Ontario this year are issuing NOIs only to EE profiles created in 2018 i.e. 1st Jan 2018 onwards. If you hope to get an NOI then you will need to create a new profile so that you appear in their searches. From a CRS and NOC perspective I dont see why you should not get a NOI. As for your IELTS or any changes you can kep updating your existing profile and dont need to create a new profile each time for a change. Hope it helps.

Hi All,

My designation is Software engineer. I am working as a developer for last 5 years. I am confused whether my Noc would be 2173-software Engineer (matches designation) or 2171.
I think 2171 is the NoC that covers development role. Can anyone please help me out here?

Thanks!

Choose a NOC based on one which matches roles and responsibilities, job title/designation is not that important.

With a twist of irony no one out of my group of friends received our ITAs yet. We have scores ranging from 472-485. This is even more nerve racking. When will we get our ITAs? Can we call CIC to inquire?
Oh God this guy is really something...

Your consultants have missed avery simple fact, that is, NOI is only sent to candidates whose profiles are created after January 2018.

Thanks for your reply. So I'll withdraw* my profile right away and create a new one with the same GCKey. That should do, right? And I'll update with the new IELTS score once I receive it. Just confirming so I won't miss anything important.

On a related note, do I just withdraw my profile or is there a procedure to entirely delete it. Thanks a lot.

You can withdraw and create a new one under the same GCKey. I did the same thing. I don't think there is an option to delete it.
Also would suggest you to take screenshots of the current profile so you dont miss anything while creating the new one.

Hello to all!

I am actually new here. And like all 430’s, I am also hoping that soon enough the cut-off score will fall down to our range.

I created my profile last March 20, and got 438 as my CRS score. My NOC is 6221, which I am not sure is in-demand in most regions in Canada.

Should I just wait then, or should I start applying for PNP?

Keep also one more thing in mind. Oinp has not issued to new candidates since 26th Feb ( unless you are in the french speaking category or have a job offer in canada). So dont expect to get a NOI, the moment you recreate your profile. No one know when they will send out the next batch of NOIs.
