Nobody withdraw the pnp, i just lost the job, been unemployed for a week but i have received job offer from other employers and they have paid $230 compliance fees,
Just have to change the employer and get new work permit. I informed pnp officer, didnt want to hide anything, we will see what happens next week.

I can also apply for bowp in may, my work permit expires in first week of dec 2018. Im thinking of applyin to bowp 7 months in advance
Just curious, since I'm in the similar situation.
I thought the applicants who has employer restricted in the nominee with the closed work permit can't get the BOWP.
This is the only reason why I'm staying with the current employer.

Did someone get two medical requests? I got the first one which was blank on Feb 28 and no IME number but then on March 12 I receive another request with an IME number and barcodes. I had already completed my medical by then on March 08 and the doctors IME is different. I am stressed because I called the clinic they said they have sent the reports to cic on the 19 but I still haven't heard from cic. And I called the clinic for them to resubmit with the new IME and no success very unhelpful. I did upload the documents through web form and try to call the 1888 242 2100 number but couldn't get through to an agent. Anybody else in the same situation?help please.
We’re on the same boat, with the exact same dates. I don’t know if it’s normal to wait that long until it gets updated to “passed” or if the second MR messed things up. Hopefully not. Please let us know if you get any updates

Does your nomination says yes to employment restriction?

Do you guys think if requesting and passing the medical exam guarantees the permanent residency or one step closer to that?

Also, what the probability or a chance of the permanent application being rejected after passing the medical exam? Any case? Just got curious... stay positive you all!

“I just called cic this morning and the agent saidthe reason they sent twice is because the 1st MR was blank so they closed it and sent a new MR, in my case the agent said she will re-open the 1st MR and will forward a note to my visa office because it seems like my visa office did not received my Med.Report because of the issue of 2 MR.
May I advice everyone to call cic asap if you received 2 MR and ask cic agent to double check your Med.Report and send it tou your visa office.
I have done my Medical Mar.6 2018 and until now it was not on my account that it was passed. But the agent said she will make sure she will have my visa office know the situation”

I’ve already read this post, but thank you anyway. From what I know, the officers on phone barely know what they are talking about, you can call them multiple times and everytime some other agent picks up the phone, you will get different answers for your questions. Therefore I will be just waiting until they process my medical exam (I already submitted via IRCC webform and got the confirmation of reception). Even my immigration consultants said that this is a better way how to deal with our situation (and trust me, they had to deal with some officers way more often and much more times than any of us).

Im afraid u cant apply for bowp but u can always change ur job and get a new closed work permit until u get pr
Thanks for the info, I thought it is impossible to change the job during the PR application process.
I just sent an email to Ontario PNP office, hopefully they give me the good news.

UPDATE.
I'm surprised to see how quickly they answer, PNP office of Ontario.

If your nominee application is approved under a job offer stream, you cannot change jobs until you receive your permanent resident status from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). If you change employment or get laid off while your permanent residence application is still being processed, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) will withdraw your nomination as you will no longer meet the condition under which you were nominated and you will not be granted permanent resident status by IRCC.

Thank you for sharing your experience, but looks like my case is different, and yes, I have the employment restriction, I'm the IT developer, don't know why they had to put the employment restriction in my nominee certificate.
This is the modern slavery, I started this whole thing from June 2015, and still waiting, almost 3 years, nowadays it is really hard to stay in one job more than 3 years, especially IT industry.
My company has arranged this transition, so all my coworkers are getting better offers, salary raise, more vacation days, but I have to stay put, and company knows I can't go anywhere, so they are taking advantage of me. :(
