Ontario select some profiles from EE based on job noc and connections to ontario. Then they send NOI(notice of interest) to selected candidates and only then you can apply for OINP.

Its never guaranteed that you will get NOI but this is ray of hope and 433 is not bad for NOI if your job is IT related.

So, I created my EE profile in DEC. 2017. That still would work, right? I saw some folks here saying they created fresh profiles and stuff.

I'll be pessimistic and say, prepare for the trend to remain the same in the remaining quarters.

There is a possibility. Because they started this year with 446 and ended Q1 with the same score.. Terrible if that happens in the next quarter

It wont work.. you need to recreate is as only current years profiles are being considered..good luck

Yes it impacted as tie breaker was on February 23rd

The tie breaker rule for this round means that profiles with CRS 446 created BEFORE February 23 at 8:06 UTC got an ITA.

I also read that they were only giving with ppl who created in 2018

That criteria is only for NOI from Ontario and not for direct ITA

This is what I'm planning to do. That additional 30 points look very juicy, even if I have to spend a couple of years learning it to get to the B2 level

Actually it will be more. 30 is just the additional bonus, but then you have points for the second language itself.

Hello Vensak, I am at 433 and will get a 5 pointer loss in 2 months. Already maxed out on IELTS.oinp seems to be the only option, but even they havent issued any NOI for hcp since feb22.

I am thinking of doing a post bachelor cert in usa, but not much evening or weekend classes available in the vicinity. I see many universities offer online course option that I can persue with my job. Will that be acceptable for ECA or does that have to be 50% at least classroom course?

Even better. 2 years will lose me 10 points, but net gain should be around 35-40 in that case. With my current 429 score (if I don't get an Ontario NOI), 450-460 should net me an invite I hope.
