Seeing some of the December applicants are getting test invite...But, absolute no progress for Mississauga applicants ...any Mississauga applicant called the CIC ?any new information. Looks like we really need to have patience for this.

Email or post depends on the office processing your application. Some use email, some send letters.

Usually the geographically closest office (within the same province; it seems to be based on postal code) will be the one that your file is assigned to, but you won't know for certain until you receive your invitation.

Kingston, ON is likely to be processed by the Ottawa office (which is an office that sends letters, though I heard today someone got their oath invitation by email... so they may have just switched delivery methods. Or someone clicked the wrong button.)

In process for my app was on March 7, called CIC yesterday and they told me its still in transit for Mississauga office. I believe it takes 2-3 or even 4 months from In process to receive the test invite while other offices with same timelines (In process for March) already received their test invite for April 10 to set for the test.. what about you, what are your timelines?

Just called CIC and was told my application was transferred to local office in Saskatoon on Mar 17, even ECUS shows "IP" on Feb 20. What a significant time it took on the way!

We have been ( family of 3) in IP status since Feb 6th ( AOR on Jan 18th)...Not sure what is going on.
