Cover letter or Q11 in imm5532?

Hey guys,
I've heard that a lot of people write cover letters to go with their application, and I actually wrote one just explaining the development of our relationship and our plans for the future. But than i saw that in the form 5532 (Relationship info) Q11 asks to share additional information to support relationship,. Should I just put my letter in there? What did you write in that field??

I wrote a "love story" type thing and for that question I wrote please refer to our story and additional evidence at the end of this application pack (I had a few things that didn't fit in anywhere which was my additional evidence - less than 10 pages worth).

I see, that makes sense! If you dont mind me asking, how...informal I guess?...was your letter?
For additional evidence, did you include all the tickets, love notes, etc?
Also, where in the package did you place the cover letter?

How informal was what letter? I didn't do a cover letter. I put a sheet at the front of the application stating sponsor: xxxxx principal applicant xxxx Family class Outland application - common law.

No I didn't include any kind of tickets.

No love notes. I did include snapshots of some FB chats when we started dating but only a few pages worth of screen grabbed conversation.
