Hi All,

I am writing here, as I created my profile on 31st August. I have 10 months and 2 weeks (45 weeks of Canadian Experience). My consultant told me that, since I am in FSW category, my Canadian experience will be counted as 1 year since, the working hours was 40 hours per week. if I consider my Canadian experience, my CRS is 457, else the score goes down to 409. Considering the case that 409, receiving ITA is highly impossible, I am planning to proceed with my Canadian experience to be part of my CRS score. I have given IELTS twice, and second time I got the score in LRWS as 8.5/7/7/8 with CLB9.

Anyone here with similar case of Canadian experience just less than a year in FSW, and still got Canadian PR processed and waiting to be processed. please help, since I am not getting a clear answer even from my consultant. Name of my consultant is Y-Axis.

To be eligible for CEC you have to have at least 12 months of skilled work experience in Canada, in the last three years (before you apply).

received Height and eye color request from London VO on march 9 and and submitted 11 march. When should I expect PPR.

I can't predict the exact date, but within 1-3 weeks.

Hello, whats your time line for LMIA exempt work permit?

I applied for PNP paper based (i know its gonna take long) and online work permit (lmia exempt; hoping to arrive sooner).

I submitted my application online for work permit since last 30 Nov 2017 but have not heard anything..

Appreciate your inputs.

I am a PNP Inland Feb 27, 2017 applicant and I am under SS since July 26th, 2017. on Feb 27th, 2018 there was an update in my IRCC account showing that (we are reviewing additional docs you provided) even though I didn't submit any new docs. do you think this is just a system glitch? please advise. Thank you

I wold not rely much on the my CIC as it does not show what stages you have passed or and sometimes the changes are merely because of a glitch. Instead see of you have passed eligibility through your GCMS notes.

Also, you can order CSIS and CBSA notes to see if that heave concluded the screening on your file.

I have my NZ Conviction Letter that I requested on 20/12/2017 but I left the country on 15 Jan. I did this because it would take me 20 days to get this Conviction Letter. Sure enough, I received it after I left the country on 14/2. The letter said "Thanks for requesting this on 20/12, as of 14/2 you are a cool dude", is it ok because it says as of <date I have left NZ permanently>?

I cannot answer in abstract. What was the conviction. Was it expunged from the record? When the letter states as of this date "you are a cool dude," what does it signify. Either provide more details, or the copy of your letter.

Wish to know whether the security checks are done in batches for individuals. I know 7 more applicants whose background checks are in process from the start of Aug'17 and all these 8 files are with the same visa officer at Ottawa. We got to know about this by matching our GCMS notes. We all are stuck for 7.5 months in BGC and have AORs in May/June'17!! We are 4 Nigerians and 4 Indians. What could be the reason of delay for so many people with the same officer? And can we collectively raise it to IRCC to expedite our cases?

The security is a complicated process and is done in collaboration with CSIS, CBSA, RCMP and other agencies. When IRCC transmits the data to these agencies, the agencies will initiate the BGC. IRCC on its own accord does do a FOSS check, to know if the applicant was ever in violation of any Canadian immigration laws, and it will also, contact foreign governments if need be.

The reason for most delays is not getting info from foreign governments, or your name / date of birth /or a family member name matching someone suspicious on the system. Also, the travels, occupation, the country of origin, or of residency play a vital role in the BGC.

Unfortunately, there is no way to expedite the security. You can write to IRCC, but be prepared to get the canned response. A group of applicants from Pakistan are in the same boat, and it is frustrating to say the least. You should however, check your GCMS notes and see if your eligibility is cleared. If it is, then you can consider requesting your CSIS and CBSA report to see if they have concluded screening on your file. The CBSA report is better as it also contains the latest GCMS notes and if the security is concluded, it is not retracted, as compared to the GCMS notes issued by IRCC where the security is retracted.

Hello, I'm 22oct aor, IP2 from 21 dec...i call ircc today...thay say that security for my husband is passed in 8 march, and my security not passed yet...can i expect ppr soon?

Have you ordered your GCMS or asked if your eligibility is cleared? If your eligibility is cleared, then the security is the only thing left which will depend on which country you are from and other factors.

We all have passed the eligibility, criminality and medical in June/July'17. We all have no travel history and just one PCC. Some of us have ordered CBSA notes. One person ordered CSIS notes and got a reply that they could not locate any record. This person has now ordered CBSA notes. Based on your advice, I'd ordered only the CBSA notes a fortnight ago which are awaiting.

I don't understand how come PPRs are sent to people with as less as 10 days!! Further, 90% of the people get PPRs with an average time of 6 months! If IRCC claims that their process is robust then how security check for these individuals is completed that quickly (10 to 30 days) and not for all the individuals. Is it that they mandatorily choose those 10% of the unfortunate people randomly to show the world that their process is comprehensive and foolproof? This is so unfair to keep this set of people waiting forever in deep frustration after having invested their time, efforts, money and future goals. Add the agony of blocking their funds and not able to use it for any purpose. Would like you to know your thoughts on it pls...

Hi, legalfalcon,

I found through my GCMS notes that case analyst recommended review required for my eligibility and my foreign experience points were deducted and total points fell below the lowest points for that ITA draw.

I raised a CSE and sent additional job-related documents to IRCC. Next day my profile changed to IP2, however, the CSE acknowledge email was sent to me a week later. I am thinking they just cleared my eligibility before seeing the additional documents I sent.

I am now stuck at IP2 for many days. Just wondering whether they again started reviewing my eligibility because of my additional documents. They didn't even ask for any additional documents from me.

What do you think about it? Was it a bad idea to send additional documents, when IRCC didnt even ask for them.

I passed everything (Medicals, Criminality, and Eligibility) except SS and I have ordered already CSIS and CBSA notes on Feb 20th and still waiting.
