Well... This is weird... My husband and i applied together and we both took the test the same day... And his status at the ecas changed to DM and mine it's still IP... Same case??? Anyone???

I went to the police station to submit my fingerprints and the officer didn't note my citizenship file number on it. Should I go backand get it redone?

Your local office system has greater effect than your background check, most of frustrating you have noticed is coming from Calgary. For unknown reason the office there almost stopped working!

Based on this summary of October sample - i beg to disagree. Calgary is second to only Ottawa in terms of Oath invite sent 20/116 applicants just for October. And somewhere in the middle for the number of test invites sent out. ( i may be reading it wrong - and i would like someone to point it out to me).

My only point is FIFO may not work - bcos background check of the applicant may take varied amount of time. Location of the applicant also matters - based on work load of the office(as mentioned earlier)

how do i make sure my Finger prints have been received by CIC?

ordering GCMS notes. You can also get them on the phone to verify the same - call center i mean.

Give them 2-3 weeks(completely random) after St Clair gets the package to open it and add it to file. RCMP stamps a 87 cent stamp on the letter and sends it out. ST clair office, IRCC st clair receives it and stacks them up and opens it one by one and then attaches it to the file. Only after it gets attached to the file - Call center folks will be able to see the notes on the file. This is just my opinion.
