Actually my OINP application was still under submitted stage after nearly 70 days. Hence I withdrew it and asked for the refund.
After you withdrew the application, did you send an email for refund or is automatically refunded? and how much time it takes to get the refund after withdrawal of application?

Hey thanks for the reply !

Actually I am in delhi and i heard you get it on the same day so i already booked the slot for it. Will it be a problem if I take from here it self ?
You can get it in a day or two if your current address and present address is same (That's what I have heard). In case that is different, it may take up to 10 days (approx) after you have had appointment at PSK office. so you need to 1st find out if you get your choice of date at PSK (passport office) and then the process starts from that day. Police verification (home visit) will happen after that and you would need to provide 2 of neighbors IDs and signature as witnesses. It gets updated after that and you have to visit PSK again to get the certificate. I am going through the same process at Gurgaon at the moment so thought to describe it. Hope it helps

Well I had initiated it via delhi police first since it is mentioned in the canada.ca site but then my consultant told me that i will have to go to psk only since that is more reliable. Secondly, i got the date (tomorrow) from the closest office. I have the same address since the time i was born so i dont think there should be an issue. Just that, I moved to US last year march and came back again in december for personal reasons.. will be leaving again in a week dont know how to explain it to them! :)

Also, what all documents did you carry to psk ? Passport and adhar card and their photo copies ?

I am thinking lower than that.
As per my thinking it will be 441 and tie breaker will be mid of December....let's see....fingers crossed
You might be right. Especially due to the increase in ITAs. Infact it might fall to 443 or 442 if there is a further increase in numbers. I still hope for 3500.

Great then, just to be on safer side ask them if anyone can collect the PCC from PSK office if that comes after you have left for US. and whats the process for that (some authorization letter or something). Carry address proof in original and 2 self attested photocopies, and on safer side carry your US ID proof and photocopy, you never know what they ask you to show. Get whatever you have with you.. lol. Good luck, update once you get it done so that we have idea of timeline.

I know this post is mostly for people waiting and hoping for an ITA, but I will ask anyway.. we are expecting an ITA tomorrow after a long wait and after we raised our score to 454 .. I removed all my work experience as a secondary applicant / dependent / spouse as I read it doesn’t matter as we are not getting any points of it and that’s to avoid having to get reference letters from my side (i had many jobs).. however, the POF is going to be my savings account, and if I get a six month statement for that (along with an affidavit) it’s going to show steady flow of savings coming in each month from my current account (obviously I am getting a paycheck). I will enter my work history details / Personal history post ITA. Will all those pose any problems ?? I can easily get a reference letter for my current job but difficult for my past jobs.. will I risk rejection or misrepresentation if I don’t enter my work experience as a spouse in EE profile? Are you guys entering every single work experience in your EE profile ? I am pretty sure I read multiple times that it’s only necessary for relevant NOCs and to meet the number of years required..

Just a question, will you travel after getting PCC from PSK? You r a resident of India? The PCC if you r travelling again, has to be after you leave last. The US PCC should be issued when u go back there.
Please confirm.

Hi Guys,

I have applied for the express entry and though I have not got the ITA I am still keeping all the documents ready. I am in India for a vacation and hence collecting all the documents I can from here.
For the PCC, I had applied via the Delhi police site and was later told that sometimes the PCC from Delhi police is not accepted.
Hence now I have reapplied through the passport office. Tomorrow is my appointment.

My question is that I left for US Last year in March and lived there for 8 months. In December, I came back to India and have been living in my permanent address. I will be going back to the US on 28th March of this month.

Will the PCC be given to me regardless of me going to the US ? will I have to explicitly mention it to them? All my documents have the same address and my husband's name is not yet added to my passport. I am not planning to change it as well.
Saw your whole post now,
You don’t need a PCC from India if you are not planning to file ITA before 28th March.
It is of no use to get the PCC now.
Once you are back in US , apply for indian PCC from embassy and US PCC from FBI,
Even if you get the PCC now, it’s not acceptable by IRCC and your application might be rejected if you put this PCC.
Keep all other documents ready but the PCC and medicals should be as close to the date of submission of ITA, as possible.

If you are the spouse of PA and have no experience in Canada , and you r not claiming any points, though you will not be given any points for the work outside Canada, you can safely remove all your work history and shift all the details to the personal history section.
The work experience of spouse outside Canada does not carry any relevance.
Just keep the documentation in case of the IRCC asks for proof.
It’s not misrepresentation.
