Hi guys.
I'm new here. I just got my GCMS note and Eligibility states "recommend interview". Security shows " not started" while Criminality and Medicals, "passed"
AOR is July 23,2017 and I went into IP2 February 27 with Additional documents also changing to Not Applicable.
Actually, I'm a bit confused.
I had sent an email to LVO February 19 and got a response from an agent on the same day that the migration officer has decided that an interview is warranted. However, 2 days later another agent responded to the same email stating:
" we are still looking at your case-rest assured that we will contact you once we have an update"
Incidentally, Eligibility, medical and criminality were passed at CIO before transfer to LVO back in September 17 as stated in the officer's notes. There were 2 notes from the officer at LVO; the text is blank for one while the other note states:
"No FOSS records. Present application is the only one that comes up under integrated search."
I'd be grateful if someone can shed light/make sense of this!

I believe they are doing your security. do you see any codes S.15 to S19 under admissibility section of your GCMS?
When did you order for the notes.If security was started 27th February, you wont see it unless you order for GCMS notes later on.My thoughts though
You ordered for the notes on the 27th of January.Check the foot page of each page of your note you will see the date the notes were generated and also at the top page of each note is the requested dateStill confused though.
Like for me l ordered for the notes on the 2018-01-09 from the top of the page my notes it shows requested date 2018-01-10 and the foot page of my notes it shows date generated 2018-01-10
In your case you ordered on the 2018-01-27 the requested date for your note l believe will be 2018-01-28 and generated date will be 2018-01-28(Check and confirm this) so if there has been any update after this date(the requested and the generated date) it wont appear in your note becasue your notes have already been generated unless you order for another GCMS note to see if there has been any update like your IP2 on 27 Feb.
Oct 7,2017.pls,wat ur NOC code. Jst trying to deduce if these interview is based on work experience
Thanks Dannio. It was generated same day so any update after then won't be in this version like you said. Just wondering at the conflicting responses. I'm actually yet to receive any mail concerning any interview date.
No I haven't. That's actually a bit confusing because of both responses received.

Hey Rey,
Such a pity that London VO is taking their own time to process the files. Somehow I get a feeling that anyone associated with UK has been put through this LONNNNG wait. My dates are AOR: 19/06 - IP2: 20/12..my last GCMS generated 04/01/18 didn't mention anything to do with SS. I tried going the Canadian Immigration Minister route.....All I could conclude from that was every application is different and they are conducting some mandatory security checks....Its worth giving a try though.
I have ordered GCMS and Security Notes .....lets see what happens next.
Keep in loop and I hope the wait stops soon for all those waiting.

I just got this reply to the web forum I submitted a week ago, in which I noted that this lengthy process might impact some career decisions I have to make.
"The background checks on your application were only just submitted in early February.
Please note that we continue to correspond with you, after asking you to keep correspondence to a minimum. We suggest that you make appropriate decisions regarding your career, keeping in mind that processing of background checks are not within the London office and thus, out of our hands. Note that the background checks can take a few months. We cannot advise you any more than we already have."
