Hello everyone,
I had received my AOR, but while reviewing the documents that was submitted, I noted that my name was mentioned differently in different records.
E.g.
My name was mentioned as John Doe P. S. (initials) in degree certificates and parent's column in my child's birth certificate
My name was mentioned as John Doe Pascal Sam in passport

While WES was evaluated, both these names were noted in the WES certificate as John Doe Pascal Sam (P S)

No name change was made; it is just that sometimes, we use initials.
I just wanted to stay clear of any issues that may arise because of the name differences in my child's birth certificate.

Is it possible to add an additional document like a a notarized self affidavit (stating both names are same) now ?

yup, you can prep an affidavit, get it notarised and attach it to your educational doc.

I m sitting at 454 but still worried about next draw.

Am I over thinking or there is any real possibility that crs might be higher than this.

I m a very optimistic person but this whole process is playing me nuts.

If you have clarified this in your Letter of Explanation, that would suffice.

And guys, there's no reason to get unnecessarily agitated. Let's keep hopes up, and prayers flowing. The optimism in this house brought me here. We need to hold fast to it. Not hard.

well put , but is it wrong to ask a question which u didnt have an idea of ? is it wrong to mention the CRS score if u dont know what to expect ? after reading this thread for a while i finally came to a conclusion that eventually i will receive ITA and my CRS has surpassed the previous draws cutoff thanks to my IELTS score. this is no way sensitive to any body. anyways thanks for the help guys. my bad that i submitted my profile on 22 of feb. had it been a day ago i wouldnt be signing in this forum.

I am stuck at 438 and received NOI on 24th Feb. I dont want to go through PNP route so trying to improve crs score. Spouse has taken IELTS on 3rd march and result is on 16th march. I have only 1 draw of 28th march if points increase before my 45 days for NOI expire.

If I were you I'd stop worrying and go for OINP. It costs C$1,500, but it saves you a heap of headache and heartburn.

I don't think so but this isn't a big issue. IRCC would've literally seen thousands of such cases. So I suggest that you leave it to IRCC. Best of luck!

Before posting CRS scores and asking for cutoff prediction, it may be worthwhile to read this thread to understand the cutoff trends. There are so many users who missed an ITA by the tiniest of margins. By being a little more sensitive, the positivity of ROH can be sustained. No offence to anybody here.

I have waited to immigrate even before express entry came out. All my struggle is just because of IELTS. I cannot give the normal version of listening section because of hearing impairment. The struggle was to find a centre willing to make special arrangements for me.

I'm sure there are many others with similar stories, so please check the previous draw scores and you'll come to know whether you're getting an ITA or not.
