Landing Inquiry after PR approval

Hello folks,

I live in Canada and i will be applying for PR next month . I will be including my wife in my application and she lives in India. After we get approved (fingers crossed) how will the landing process works?

Just want to know in advance.

You can finish the landing process by flagpoling at the border or by making an appointment at an IRCC office.

Your spouse can finish the landing process at any airport but she cannot do so until after you've done yours.

Thanks for the reply. I need to go for a visit to my home country in November anyways. So how about me going there and then come back to Canada with my wife? Is that an option as well?

Yes, that's perfectly fine, you can both finish the landing process at the same time.

Hi everyone, i have applied for PR for me, my husband and my son together. After our PR gets approved, is it possible for only me to go and collect the PR cards for all 3 of us? What happens if for some reason or visa issues my husband cannot accompany me?
