Hi guys. I was searching on forum for answer to this question for about an hour, and I didn't find anything so I am sorry if I am asking something that is already answered.
I was in Canada for four and a half months (from 10th July to 1st December 2017). I was invited by my family friends and I stayed at their house. I am at my home country for over 3 months now. I want to go again to Canada for another four, four and a half months, before I return to job in my home country (took 1year non-paid vacation). Question is, do I need, again, an invitation letter, and a document from a bank confirming how much money I am bringing in to Canada, and will I have any problem on a border for returning? Oh, I have multiple entry visa until 2022. Thank you

Even though you have taken 1 year leave from your company, it will look suspicious to the CIC as you have only been back in your country for 3 months after your last trip. I would suspect you will need confirmation from your employer that you still have a job and proof that you have finances or financial support to last for another 4 and a half months at least

Thank you for answer.
By law in my country every vacation is paid. But when you want one year leave, you must ask for ''one year non-paid vacation''. That is what is called. Ofcourse, that is employers choise, whether he is going to allow that or no. So if he allow that, we would sign an agreement, and also by the law the employer can't fire me until that period expire.I am legally bound to come to company twice during that period to confim that I will be still working after that one year period. I can take the proof from employer. That is not a problem

If you get the agreement from your employer that is good but you have to explain to Vic why it's a year and not 4 months (as you stated for your trip). I cannot say what the outcome would b

I don't think you have any problem with that. A friend of mine also hold multiple visit visa come initially stayed in Canada for 4 months, then return to his country and then second time stayed for another 4 months. He planned a third trip to Canada after his return to his country in a few weeks. Travelled with him many times at the land border and CBSA let him pass through.

Thanks. I will try anyway. But still, do I need invitation letter and/or proof that I have financial means for my stay. I plan to bring 2000cad with me and return ticket

I didn't understand what I need to explain?

If you have a year long leave from your work, Vic may think you will come to Canada for a year and not 4 months

Oh. It's a year long leave from august 2017. So I still have time until august 2018. That is why I am staying 4months. Do I need invitation letter, proof of finances?

I would think you would need at least proof of finances yes. Everybody coming here, whether it's a holiday or not still has to have sufficient funds. AS for letter, maybe steaky can advise you on that.

I don't think he carry his invitation letter but he always has some cash and card.
