So, my Husband and children are all Canadian citizens (he was born there). We are looking to move back to Canada in the next 6-12 months. I am completely stumped as to the best way for me to enter the country during that time period. Can anyone tell me if it would be best to enter using an eTA and then apply for Spousal Sponsorship from within Canada, or apply from Australia and just hope it is processed in time for us to leave?Or does anyone know if I can still enter the country whilst the application is pending?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

We need more info. Are you an Australian citizen? If not, what passport do you hold?

Apply outland now. You can enter as a visitor if the app is still processing when you come to Canada.
Hi canuck_in_uk I recently ask a similar question, I am Canadian and my husband is Trinidadian (Trinidad and Tobago national) he has a visitors visa for Canada can we all visit Canada this summer while the PR application is in the process? do u think we will have problems with immigration? any suggestions? thanks!

Yes, you can visit Canada while the app processes.
