oh yeah whole march no holiday so maybe everybody will get PPR

i disagree, I have experience that even when there is no change on application but when someone touches our application it sends us an email, there need not be any message or not even actual update.

there is a thread which specifically talks on this topic bcoz like me many people had experiences where there is an email but no update.
It doesnt happen with me though.
I get emails only when some actual message is there like for pcc or sch A.
I got no emails when medicals were passed or when the status changed to we need additional documents.

Guys I tweeted IRCC to asks about the so called glitch they tweeted back and said if your coming to canada temporarily it’s a issue in the system that there trying to fixed if your coming to canada permanently it’s not a glitch it’s a system update to provide more transparent info... I have know idea what that means lol but they kinda gave me the answer lol

yes i agree.. I saw their tweets too! Basically what I understood from this is that they are getting rid of the "Not Applicable" option as that is not a transparent update of what is going on- as we know that when our BGC turns to Not Applicable it pretty much means that part of our bgc has been started and completed- the R10 and criminality checks. This is why the recent applicants with NA bgc status also saw this update. I think they are replacing the Not Applicable option with this.
Even if it is not a glitch, now I do not think that this means anything in terms of our application- as this might be an updated version of bgc status from CIC and not NDVO. Let me not speak too soon though. We shall wait and see.

I doubt if it is simply the new Not Applicable. Coz what about the people even one day before this update who had 'We are processing your background check' and then received dm and ppr the next day? I am hoping cic is not allowed to change the meaning of statuses mid way on a whim.
