Hi to the folks that have been following Mexico VO for a while: do they tend to send a pre-arrival services letter?
Cheers!

Today we received the first communication since our application had been transfer to the Mexico visa office on Jan 09. My wife received a letter that her application is now with Mexico Visa Office.

Our marriage was similar as yours (quick, no family there), but we are a same-sex couple.

I guess we will be called for an interview.

You will be fine, get to know each other :)

Hey everyone, I need some help please!
Can someone assist me in getting a police certificate for my husband, a Mexican citizen living in Canada. The website doesn't make much sense to me. What is the first step I need to make?

Morning guys. Does anyone know how long it takes after "started processing your application" it takes to hear any more news from Mexico VO?

Finally movement. One year ago EXACTLY our app was received. We received the pre arrival services email today!!

I have a question which I haven't found answers on the forum as of yet - if anybody is aware, please redirect me to the post.

My husband has a daughter which is not accompanying him to Canada - she will stay with her birth mother. However, as we know, CIC requested the medical. In this situation, the birth mother is difficult and tries to do anything she can to make my husband's life complicated. She will not let the daughter have the medical examination. He has tried and asked her, but she refuses.

Is there anybody who has had this situation? Can I ask, if so, what information did you include? He has asked several times but she will stop him from seeing the child if he continues to ask. Is a letter of explanation sufficient in anybody else's experience? The daughter never lived with him, he has no legal custody - child always has lived with mother, he never lived with them. Any suggestions would be so helpful, just nervous that this will bog down the process.
