Hey guys

I just finished creating my EE profile and sbmitted, which has been effective about 30 minutes now.
The thing is, right after I submitted my profile, I check the application status, where I realized that my CRS Canadian Education Points are NONE. So I did some googling to figure out what is going on here, and I noticed that I unconsciously answered YES to the question asking me if the more than half the courses were ENGLISH/FRENCH courses. So I changed the answer to NO. and I wanted to see my score going up, but there was(and has been) NO CHANGE!!

For your reference, I got a bachelor's degree in Canada.

How is this possible?
I feel so frustrated.. pls help

Have you waited at least 24 hrs after making the change?

Can you post exactly what you filled for questions related to education? Also, logout and login again to check.

I believe I answered correctly except this stupid one. I thought it asked me if more than half the courses were taken in ENGLISH. ; )

I have a unique situation. My cousin has completed Masters education from Canada; L7 R7 W6 S6.5; Age 30; Canadian 1 year exp; Foreign 1 year exp; spouse accompanying and not claiming any points for education/W.exp/ English language.
CRS calculator shows 445 as the score.
After submitting profile in the pool, it counted everything as 389 (that is when he realized that he had forgotten to add foreign wok exp of 1 year). So he added it.
And then score increased to 415. No changes were done for Education related questions (even the question where it asks about 'more than half of the study'...was answered NO). Still, he is getting 0 points for Canadian Education! Should he try creating new profile?

No - he shouldn't create a new profile.

He has answered a question incorrectly if he is getting zero points. If he creates a new profile, without fixing the question he got wrong, then he will still have an incorrect score.

He needs to carefully review the answers he gave for education related questions to find the error. If he can't find the error, then he should post his answers to all of these questions here.

Thanks Scylla.
He actually clicked on 'Withdraw profile' and created a new application inside the same account and now can see the right score which is 445.
Is that a problem?

That's fine. Sounds like he fixed the error.

Sorry for a silly question. If he works as an assistant manager in restaurant and gets paid$15/hr which is low wage, does the wage matter in CEC? or should he request raise in salary before getting an invitation to apply?

What province is he working in? Is this a large restaurant that warrants an associate manager? Salary is important and only asking for a raise right before applying doesn’t erase the pay rate for the previous year. Whether the restaurant size warrants an assistant manager will also be a factor. IRCC is very aware that many are being given the title of restaurant manager or retail assistant managers when it is purely for immigration.
