Duration for processing after a file is sent to visa office...

Hi,

Its been 4 months ever since I applied for spousal sponsorship. London visa office has our file and its been about more than a month ever since they were sent our file. Does anyone know how long it will take from here on for the case to be finalized? A friend of mine told me that it depends on how many files they already have in the queue. Can anyone help me with the answer to my question please. My spouse is from Pakistan.

Please see the case tracking spreadsheet link in my signature line. That has details of many applicants from Pakistan being assessed by LVO and their timelines.

But as an 'order of magnitude' answer, it will very likely take them 'a few' or 'several' months yet!
