For those who have obtained PCC from Pakistan and got PPR

Could you please advice if PCC is required from multiple cities, if one has lived in multiple cities since turning to 18 years.

Or a single PCC stating that "Living in this district since Birth" will cover all past durations regard less of the cities he has lived in

One single PCC is required for one country.

Thanks Sushmart, that was helpful. I was really worried. I though, I would have to prepare it city-wise.

dear all!

i have lived after 18 age in three different cities. i have ID card issued by my native city multan, and my address is of multan on that ID card.

for the sake of higher education, and job, i have lived in two other cities, rawalpindi and Islamabad. currently i am living in islamabad for the last 4 years.

it is easy for me to get single PCC from multan for the whole period showing period from since 18, up until now. but the problem is that wouldn't be immigration officer concerned that while i have job experience in rawalpindi, and i havn't attached PCC from rawalpindi or islamabad..... that would be fine or not ? whether migration officer scrutinize to so much detail.......and can possible cause rejection on basis of that or what?

it is difficult for me to get PCC from islamabad since i have issue with my hired house lease agreement (pre-requisite for PCC from ISD).

i would higly appreciate your kind consideration and expert advice in this matter,

best regards,

You only need 1 PCC for each country you have lived in. You can have PCC taken from your home town but it is more preferable to have a PCC from the city of current residence.

I lived in two cities in last ten years. I made two pcc ,one for each city because in Pakistan there is no centralised system.

I guess you need pcc for each city you had mentioned in your application.

You need multiple PCC for multiple cities in Pakistan and even multiple if you live in different district of the same city.

There is no centralized system in Pakistan so One PCC one Country doesn't apply for Pakistan.

Rule seems same. For me pervious district PAL office (PCC Issuing Authority) told me, they can only generate PCC for me, if I show them address of my living in their district on my CNIC. Which I can't produce, as I have new address on my CNIC. On several requests, they made a manual PCC for me. I don't know it is acceptable to CIC or not. This was a only solution in my case.

InshaAllah all will be good. Thanks for the info

@cool eagle: this is a dilemma and I feel your pain. I have also lived in 2 cities in Pakistan, Karachi and Islamabad and got PCC issued from both, although I haven't permanently lived in Pakistan since 2004. I moved to UK in 2004 and then came back for 8 months in 2007 and then went back to UK in 2008 and came back to UAE in 2013. Been living permanently in UAE since then.

The duration mentioned on the Pakistan pcc seems to be a concern. My consultant had asked me get a pcc covering the most recent date I visited Pakistan and when I checked with the police they said I need to provide proof of address for the duration that I claim to have stayed in Pakistan and I have to mention the dates of my stay at the address on the form which they will mention on the PCC. When i explained them the situation they said they can't provide a pcc if I was a visitor so they will provide one covering the whole duration and the pcc will say this person has been residing at the address from xxx date till now. This won't be right as the Pakistan pcc will say resident in Pakistan and the documents show I am resident in UAE.

So I have submitted my case yesterday and sent them 4 pcc's covering the durations I was permanently resident in Pakistan (1983-2001 Karachi) (2001-2004 + 2007 Islamabad ) (And 2 more from UK and UAE)

If We provide a PCC from pakistam till now won't it be a conflict of dates as the PCC will state this person is permanently resident at this address till the current date, while actually as per my documents it's obvious I am permantly living/working in UAE duration those years.

Sorry for the long message but I am worried as I don't want to spoil all the hard work because of this pcc.

I am from Bangladesh. I have completed my medicine degree from Karachi, Pakistan from 2007-2013. Got back to Bangladesh & living here since then. Now my question is how do I get PCC from Karachi? I don't have any relatives to help me in this regard
