I'd like to ask about the query whether that the MBA Degree obtained via distance education mode is evaluated by WES & considered as equivalent to Canadian counterpart?

Yes. WES evaluates MBA obtained via distance education as long as the university is recognized. You will also be able to claim points for Master's equivalency once you get the evaluation report. I have done this myself.
