Hi Everyone,

Glad to share here that my brother has received notification of interest from Ontario in his CIC account. But, no mail so far.

1. Do they send the NOI on mail also?

2. Also, any quick reference for next Steps, if somebody can guide. I am already refering the Ontario HCP application guide, however, for smooth and clear understanding, what could be the chronological steps to do?

3. He is definitely accepting the NOI and proceed for application. Also, they have mentioned ----
"If you want Ontario to consider you for nomination under its PNP you must contact Ontario directly after receiving this letter. Note that this letter of interest is not a guarantee that you will be nominated by Ontario. You will first have to satisfy Ontario that you meet the requirements of their program."
What does this mean? Do we simply email them on their general inquiries email id? They take around 3 days to reply on this (I had done that earlier for some inquiries).

@iamxty @Karnesh @trumprefugee @Lala1234 , and any other fellows, specifically from India who have taken OINP route - if you can please guide. I would also want to connect with guys who have received NOI recently, if there are any here and started the process. Or on any other forum / whatsapp group.

Profile details are as below:

EE profile recreated on: 21/01/2018
CRS Score: 435
NOC: 1111
NOI Received: 09/02/2018.

Thanks.

Today I met the third person that got ITA on Wednesday but is declining for a silly mistake, Passport details, Wrong NOC etc. goes to show why people with high CRS keep rising in the pool.
Passport or NOC can be all corrected by LOE. Only if the real CRS would be lower than the ITA requirement for the draw it is reasonable to decline.

Nope, that message on his EE profile is the NOI itself. He shall login to their system and create a profile there an upload all the requested documents including screenshot of that NOI from EE.
good luck

How many days to :

1. Login to create profile on OINP portal? I believe this is 45 days.

2. Once you login, to complete your profile on OINP. This is believe is 14 days.

Is this right??

Thanks.

hi @ishq74

glad to have your optimistic posts which many of us was craving for a long time now. Many are even saying that cutoff might not even come down to 435 even before the end of the year at least considering the higher end CRS candidates jumping into the pool quite suddenly, for instance 1000 applicants with over 442 entered the pool within the last 7 days of the last draw. So, this raised exasperation among all, that if this continues to be like this in the future it will be quite difficult to see a decline in the cutoff & also people are saying everyone to go with pnps cause of this growing tension. Honestly everyone is under great anxiety now with the overall situation. I have seen people with even 435 & up are running for OINP. I am planning to go either for Masters or go for French but for that i will have to invest a lot of time, money & energy.

So, do you think sitting on 435 I should opt for such ways of increasing my scores? or what is the best action i should be taking now? it will be great to have your opinion too on this matter. thanks : )
I am sorry, I do not want to influence your decision on this. In my opinion, we will see another surge on ITA number in next draw. You are the best person to take decision on your future plan.

Good Luck!

Yes, Your NOI as such is valid 45 days. Data in the portal are valid 14 days. In the past they were people that were able to delete profile in their portal and to create new one if they did not meet 14 days. Just be aware, that you NOI shall be max. 45 days old when submitting application.

good luck

Has anyone in this entire world was able to get an LMIA approved job offer in NOC 2174 from outside Canada in the past one year? Do you know one ?

It helps me to decide whether I should even think of pursuing it.

Hello
I had currently registered on the Ontario website to check the onip process after I got a noi in my profile. I have started a profile but want to wait for few draw to see where it is going. I did not find anywhere it says I need to complete the profile in 14 days. Everywhere in there website it says 45 days after I got the noi. Can you please point me to the right place where it mentions 14 days to submit profile.
Thanks

The main challenge of LMIA in my experience, is time. It is difficult to convince an employer to wait for the LMIA to be processed ( lets say a month ), to fill in the paperwork and then wait an additional 90 days or more for your COPR. Most employers need somebody within a month or two at most.

I have had a few employers interested but it always falls apart at the LMIA stage. This is after meeting them discussing roles, etcetera. I am fortunate in that my work experience makes me quite employable internationally. But it is very difficult to convince an employer to wait that long.

I guess it is technically not impossible to get an LMIA, but certainly is not easy. I would imagine either knowing somebody willing to file the paperwork and wait ( relative or friend ) or be coming to do such a key role for an employer that they are happy to wait.

I am low 400s in score currently but hoping to increase this with another ECA, if this fails, I lose even more points at my next birthday, so am potentially heading out to work on a temporary work permit in Canada in a couple of months and hoping for either gaining points through a years employment in a years time under CEC, or alternatively being lucky enough for OINP, if they ever start issuing to low 400s.

Certainly try, but it is not going to be easy.

Is it true that one has to stay for 6 months in order to sponsor their spouse?

You will definately get ITA on that score just be patient and wait...before last draw I might not not have suggested this but looking at increased ITA numbers I would definately suggest now and another thought if let's say it does not go down delete profile and create again for NOI you still have that scope

The EE system gave me a higher score than what I had calculated based on the above website. Not sure if there are others who had similar luck.
Just wanted to clarify that I had made a mistake in my calculation. The score computed by EE system was in fact correct. Apologies for any confusion.
