Family Sponsorship Invitations info

Hi Everyone,

Hoping everyone is doing great. The Family Sponsorship is new to me, so pardon my ignorance first and foremost.

My brother expressed interest to sponsor our Mother and his Father In Law in January. Now that the deadline to express interest is over.

1) How long does it usually IRCC takes to start sending invitations?
2) Are all the invitations sent at once or are they sent throughout the year?

Your brother can't sponsor his father-in-law. I suggest you join the main 2018 parent sponsorship thread.

1. It will be a few more months.

2. No on can say. Depends on how the first draw goes.

Given that my Sister in law is also a Canadian PR, I'm guessing it will be done through her.

As long as she submitted the interest form for her father in her own name.
