My birthday is on the 21st and we're at 440 so hopefully I'll get my birthday wish!! Cut off might the only problem but I'm feeling good about this year.
Hi macaly7 & other fellow members,

Can you help clarify : At the time of application submission, I was 34 and most likely my ITA (if it were to happen) will be beyond march 2018 and I will be 35 by then. So, Would my CRS come down from current level since I will be year older. Or, once the application is submitted that's the age which is considered for CRS.

Kindly enlighten...

ATB and hope you get your birthday wish fulfilled.

Congratulations one more time to those who got an ITA!

Friends, we are about see the light (3000 ITAs) at the end of the tunnel! ITA issuance has been increased which is a vital point. Hopefully in some draws there will be an increase, 3250 ITAs. Stay positive and hopeful!

Hello guys.

I have one question here about my situation. I am eligible for EE CEC as well as for BC PNP - International Graduate at this moment.
My Crs for EE CEC, though, is currently 436 (since I am adding my boy friend in my application), and we are planning to take CELPIP in 2 weeks.

I assume that we can probably reach to around 440~442 since my boy friends English ability is pretty decent.
But not sure if we would grab a chance to get ITA with it (since the current cut-off is 442 and it might be going up again)

The thing is that I am only eligible to apply for BC PNP - International Graduate by mid May 2018 since my graduation was 3 years ago.
So, I am wondering what would be the safest option for me to obtain PR?

I am considering this -
Applied under both streams and (lets say) if I got the invitation under PNP first, then just try to wait for ITA under CEC until the very last moment before I accept my PNP invitation? (30 days)

Would it be realistically recommended?

P.S I already paid some advance fee to my agency regarding my CEC application and they are gonna ask me separate fee for PNP if I would go with it too. Such a pain.
If i were you, I would opt for CEC.

CEC applications are averaged 3 months for processing. There were applicants whose applications were processed in mere two weeks, and that entirely dependent on complexity of the case.

PNP applicants averaged 4-5 months of processing + additional 2-3 months for nomination.

If you can afford time and money, you can take PNP route. All the best :)

You will lose points for birthday until you get ITA. After ITA, they will considered your score for age until PR.

What's your view on this draw man?
What could be the cutoffs for 14 and/or 21 Feb if it happens with 3000 ITAs?
:)
The intake to the pool is more than the current average but the positive is that the number of ITAs being issued have increased.
Assuming 3000 ITAs, the CRS cuts offs could be
Feb 14 - CRS 438
Feb 21 - CRS 441

when do we pay the fees? and does paying processing fee and RPRF together really speeds up the process?
Paying the fees together does help, as they don't have to request you for the same and wait for processing the payment docs. If money is no issue, I suggest pay them together.

Guys,

I've been a silent reader of this forum (specially RoH) for over a year. I took the IELTS 5 times in one year, I spent almost 200 hours studying English to reach a CLB 9 and today I receive my ITA (my score were 407 and I got 464 with CLB 9).

I'm writing to thank you for all the information, all the speculation and all the hope you have been giving me during this year. Only we know how difficult and heart-breaking this proccess is and to have a place to read kind words of people in the same page as me was fundamental to persist.

Do not give up, keep studying and if you don't reach CLB 9 for 0,5 band ask for a remark, it really works.

I hope that this year will bring good news to all of us.
Hi ,
Congrats on the jump & wishing you luck with the remaining formalities post ITA.

I can feel you , as I am sitting for my third attempt in two days . Any tips !?

My score will jump big time too ..

3000 ITAs already; Just after 2 draws this year! At least 25 more to go and early signs of low Cutoff are already showing! Want to hear from all those pessimists who said 2750 will be fixed for this year and below 440 has no chance.
True Ray of Hope members will always be the optimists no matter how high the cutoff score goes or how low the ITA numbers come down. Waiting for record breaking low cutoffs and high ITA numbers in coming months. Way to go IRCC!

How the tie breaker could be 442 may 2017.. CRS touched 436 in Nov 2017.. any idea?
Points increased overtime. Same with me. 422 June , then I improved my score to 441, but creation dye June

This means 442 is still crowded unlike 444 which had a tie breaker of Jan 18...effectively CRS dropped by 1 point only...

Yes. It is crowded. Hopefully 441 is not too crowded.

It means that the actual cut-off for this draw was 443 and they might have pulled only a handful of candidates from the 442 group (the oldest ones, meaning profile age). Sadly, many people here still do not understand the tie-breaker rule.
