Hi @legalfalcon do you know what's the difference between IMM5563 and GCMS ?
Our MP told us to keep checking the application online. But we can't, because our lawyer is representative there.
So to make an inquiry ourselves, our MP suggested my spouse to fill out the IMM5563 form to allow her have access to information on behalf of the applicant. But I'm not sure what it is or if it's better than GCMS notes.

IMM5563 is the form used to file the request for GCMS notes. Instead of doing it electronically, it is the paper version of it. I wonder why your MP would do that, unless the MP is delegating it so someone in her staff because according to Paragraph 8(2)(g) of the Privacy Act a government institution is permitted to disclose personal information "to a Member of Parliament for the purpose of assisting the individual to whom the information relates in resolving a problem." And this does not need any consent or some.

Hope you are well. I received my ITA in the last round in which I have claimed points for sibling. My sister is currently here in my home country and will go back at the end of the week. For proof of her address, she doesn't have any lease agreement in her name, neither she has any utility bills. Bank statement do not mention address and are online as well. Furthermore, she cannot file for tax return until March I believe. So that is not an option for now.

My options as of now: My brother-in-law has provided me a letter from child service center in which my sister and her husband's name and address has been mentioned. In addition, he has also managed to get a confirmation letter of residence from the building manager for my sister and her husband mentioning the date since they started living there. Will these documents be enough for the proof of current residence for my sister and does the letter from the building manager has to be notarized there? Thank you so much in advance.

All bank records will have an address. It can be a credit card statement, or any other statement. Even online statements are valid. I am not sure which bank your sibling is using, but I can confirm that if its Scotia, BMO, Tangerine, or RCB they all have online statements with addresses.

In an eventuality that you do not get the bank statement, you can use the letter from child service centre, given that it is a government (federal or provincial) office. The letter from the building manager won't be of much help as it is issued by a private individual. The letters or proof of residence has to be from either a government institution or a established financial institution. Even driving license, cellphone bills, etc will work.

No he won't do it. He told us to keep checking the application online. But since we couldn't, he contacted IRCC and they suggested us that we can also request the IMM5563 form ourselves to know more about our application.
I wonder if requesting the form is better or the electronically way ?

The letter my brother-in-law provided was from "Community Service's Child Services by the Region of Waterloo". I asked him to provide me with the online bank statement for my sister and i will include it with the above letter, but he insists he will get more government papers in couple of days.

My other major concern is, my father's name in my citizenship, passport and birth certificate is according to his citizenship. However, my sister's is missing the last part which indicates our caste, not the surname in her documents. In the local context, it doesn't really matter but I don't know how much impact it can have on my application! Hence I have collected scan copy of my sister's passport, birth certificates for both of us (Original, Translated and Notarized), Relationship document between parents, my sister and I. Furthermore, I have prepared a self-affidavit for confirmation of my father's name along with confirmation letter from local governing ward office stating both the person are same. My mother's name is the same in both birth certificates. Could you please let me know if I have covered fully for my father's missing last name (caste) issue here? Thank you so very much once again and have a great day.

I would suggest that you get another GCMS notes and see the progress. The section I quoted are for the code RA, ad specific in the IRCC Operations Manual. It could be an error too, but the updated GCMS notes will show the reason if there has been progress.

Filing a request electronically is way faster. GCMS notes take at least 30 days. Then add another 2 weeks or more for the paper request.

You have pretty much done everything. You are a veteran member on the forum and I am sure you have read all that is there about this issue.

I would also suggest that you add your father's passport, or any other government issued ID which has his name as it appears on your passport. That would immensely support your claim.

RA as a code is what I gave you before and I understand that it does not make any sense. However, RA for Review Agent, I have never come across as review agent is not a terminology used.

I would also suggest that you add your father's passport, or any other government issued ID which has his name as it appears on your passport. That would immensely support your claim.

As for the government ID, I have decided to include the citizenship card of all family members that are included in the relationship document, that are, my father, mother, sister and I. Hello everyone. My status changed from- "We need additional documents" to "We do not need additional documents", even though I did not submit the document they asked for. The document request was for PCC. However, the upload button is still there to attach additional documents. PS- the PCC is unobtainable and I already have explained why in LOE when I received AOR. I am 22 Sept 2016 applicant and I did upfront medical on February 5, 2017 so I didn't get MR
My medical exam is expired on February 6, 2018 . Today my CIC online account changed from "Medical Passed" to "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes"

Will IRCC extend my ME or I need to re-do ME again ??
