is your Back ground shows in process in my cic account?

i have same timline August 19th 2016 AOR November 29 2016.
my bg is still N/A.

July 28th inland ...still BG N/A when I called CIC one agent said BG in progress and the oher one said security not started yet

They also ask me to update my passport cause current one was expiring...update it and received on my file January 15 but since then even tho I passed 18 months nothing is goin on....I have a feeling that update of my passport causing another frustrating delay....if you guys have same issue pls let me know so I´m not the only one who has that feeling..

Eligibility means that if ur eligible for the pr ots different from medical and background check

you are not alone, I am July 13, 2016 AINP SINGLE Applicant, BG still NA, CIC never asked for additional documents. delayed with no reason, sad....

I will never understand this system...they should start processing files over 18 months as a priority and here u hearing about late August applicants getting PPR....

I think it doesn't matter. my cic account still shows in progress. just follow the PPR email steps. I sent my passport today! cheers!
