Ashu Bhai, you are correct in your observation. Anyways, I don't think they do these checks for each and everyone. This is what the "MyCIC" site says as well. But this is height that files are not touched for so many months. Here we are waiting patiently and burning our blood. I have sent few emails no response received other than the automated response.

Haven't logged in for few weeks, trying to keep myself distracted. This continuous wait is causing stress.

Visa applicants do not always understand that immigration visas are subject to rationing by the annual immigration levels system. CIC has to allocate resources to each visa office according to the contribution that office is expected to make to the annual level. A given visa office is only expected, or allowed, to issue a certain number of immigration visas per year. They are not allowed to issue as many visas as they can. At times they must delay or stop processing certain categories of visas.

Agreed, it is for this reason there is a CAP on PNP and Federal visas granted each year. People who are shortlisted under various categories, their application should be processed within a specific time frame.

If they don't do it than it will certainly lead to back logs and unfortunately the applicants are the ones who suffer.

Means Visa officers have to select limited files for processing at a time.
The application of Saint and compassionate type people comes bouncing first in the hands of the officer.

Found this on CIC website: From April 2016 to March 2017, the service standard of 11 months was met 20 percent of the time. 80 percent of applications were processed in 16 months or less. Processing times increased as older cases in the inventory were being finalized. Newer cases are expected to be finalized in 2018.

I haven't found anything useful in gcms notes. There I got to know that my file untouched since July 2017, when they updated my wife's re-medical result. They rejected her June completed result.
Now I want to apply again for gcms.

I will also try to get GCMS notes for my application, trying to find someone reliable in Canada who could help on this. Really don't know whether it would really make any change in the status.

I thought you are inland and can order notes

Thanks for sharing this though. I have used a website in past which charges 25 CAD. This is cheaper.
