1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 6, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 1, 2018.

Can you share your complete timeline ? I'll add you.

Guys I just got AOR.. The strange thing is that it came to the old email address I used for PR and they didn't really use the email address I provided in application

They used my PR address for citizenship so I updated that as well.

Question for people who got AOR , can few of you check ECAS and confirm the date received as per the delivery confirmation and as per ECAS. Is there a difference if yes of how many days , I am trying to see if date received on ECAS is actually the date they check application for completeness rather than the receipt of application. Is there a difference if yes of how many days , I am trying to see if date received on ECAS is actually the date they check application for completeness rather than the receipt of application. In majority of the cases, AOR on ECAS shows the application delivery date. In a very few cases this date was off by 1 day (+1).

As far as we know - the date of receipt on ECAS and the date the applicantion was delivered to CIC are the same.

It was the same in my case. Some members have reported couple of days difference for example Delivered on Dec 12 and the AOR email and ECAS says Dec 15. But very few have reported it.

It is not the date the application is checked for correctness.

Unfortunately I cannot tell as my son didn’t print acknowledgment of application.But Iam sure you will receive AOR with in 3/5 days.

My application was delivered on 4th Dec and receipt date is 6th Dec

My application got returned saying it was incomplete. looks like i had missed one of the fields.. need to update and send it again.
