This is my second application. I applied under the old requirements in March 2017, but unfortunately my physical presence calculator had an absence that didn't save properly and I didn't catch the discrepancy when submitting. Unfortunately after factoring that absence in, I was short by a day. So I had to withdraw my application and was out the fees. I finally reapplied in December with everything quadrupled checked by me and several friends. Hopefully no surprises this time!

AOR's depend on so many factors.
It depends on the case officer who takes up your application to assess for its completeness.
(Some take their sweet time and some are quick)
Compelxity of your application. (factors like stay in 2 or more countries for more than 6 months, your calculation period includes work permits and student permits)
Your physical presence calculator has too many entries.

Stay Calm and carry on.... start calling or writing to CIC if you have passed 80 days after your application delivery date.

You are definitely right but I’m neither of those. My eligibility falls when I was already a permanent resident and I’ve never left Canada since. Except for a few trips here and there to the US that are accounted for.

Guess someone is just taking their sweet time lol!

Sorry to hear about your first time. But now you have so much buffer (over 600 days) on your second attempt that even if you still forgot a trip here or there, it shouldn't matter. So the chance for a surprise is much less this time :)
