Yes I studied and working in Ontario.

Ok then my assumptions are following:
They will check recent profiles (it seems, that they started to check profiles created this year.
They will first go after people that are currently working in Ontario
or they are studying here (or have studied here in the past).
There it does not seem that they have any special NOC preference (your NOC is very common)
If they do not find enough profiles like that, they will move on international candidates

Please take it as an assumption from this one case. In order to make it a good theory more NOI cases need to be analysed.

That is the most recent update on the OINP website with regard to profile age. I think something else to back up the fact that recreating profiles helps is that most of the people that I know received NOIs on this forum, recreated their profile.

@sundar17feb99 @trumprefugee @iamxty - thoughts?

The entire EE is a huge database and it will sort the candidates based on the details we fill during EE application.
From the database, OINP uses a script to pull the candidates who met their minimum criteria and sends NOI respectively.

The entire process is automated, hence it is recommended to recreate the profile when OINP kick start their registration.

Hello guys after a long gap i am back to forum to share the news that I am still trying to let it sink to my system. After 5 attempts in IELTS via British Council, I took the test again on Dec 2 through IDP for the first time. My initial score was L 8.5, R 7, W 6.5 and S 7.5. I requested for EOR and to my surprise I got the call from IDP in only 3 weeks this morning. My Writing score has been revised from 6.5 to 7. Got the TRF too. It's been hell of a journey for IELTS and I couldn't be more happier that its over now. My new CRS is 449; got to update the score in my EE profile. Also withdrew my OINP application which was still submitted after November 15 and hopefully I will get the refund as well. In fact, my Oct 28 result of EOR via British Council is still due in which I scored L 8.5, R 8.5, W 6.5 and S 7.0. Hopefully that too will be revised and I would get the refund.
My best wishes buddy.. Admiring your tenacity :)

Hi I have a similar question. I have been at my current Job for almost 10 years. So

1. Do I still need to put previous experience in my EE profile?

2. I have had 3 different roles in the same employment, the last 2 are in the same NOC while the first 6 years were in a different NOC. How do I represent this in the ee profile. As a single job for the 9+ years or broken Dow into roles?. I have currently broken it down cos the first NOC is in demand in a province that I am eyeing. But I am thinking of the best option if I am recreating my profile for an OINP chance ?

Post ITA, you will directed to personal history section which mandates you to denote your history.

Now, in your position, I would segregate according to NOC's. I would get documents for the most recent NOC and leave the remaining for personal history (Considering my most recent history is 3+exp).

If my primary or recent NOC is < 3 year or if i feel my other NOC's may fetch me NOI / Interest from Province or I could gather experience letter from my employer I would opt accordingly.

Hope it helps :)

Guys: If the WES report is:
Canadian Equivalency: Secondary school diploma and diploma (three years) - Can I claim the Bachelor's Degree or 3 or more years program at a....

Guys, is it true that you can only use your recent language test even if the first one has high score than the second attempt?
Nah.. Who said that? consultants ? :p:p

You can use any IELTS report which fetches you max points.
Obviously, the said report should be valid.

Also, once you submit your application , validity of all the docs (e-APR) will be retained.
It doesn't matter, if the document you submit has 1 month validity left but the processing time takes 6 months.

On the other side, if your validity expires next month but upon ITA, you might be submitting your application after a month then you have to use the most recent one or retake the test.

Based on your CRS score, use your educated guess of which one to be used.

OINP NOI received. I have 446 points..thinking of waiting for the next draw before deciding to accept the noi.. any suggestions?
Congratulations! Can you please share :
1. Your NOC code.
2. Date of EE profile creation.

Also, my suggestion would on your question is there seems to be no harm in waiting another 2 days for the draw, with your score.. direct ITA is highly likely. You save 1500 CAD also— if that’s a matter of concern at all.

Thanks.

14 days to accept and register with your NOI. Others please correct if I am wrong.

Congratulations. Would you also share:

1. NOC Code.
2. Date of EE Profile creation.

Again, given your score.. you can also wait for this Wednesday ( night if in India) for a direct ITA.. given your score.

Thanks.
