Mine was re-created the day they announced last year and got the NOI within 24 hours. So, I don't know what would exactly constitute a new profile but definitely one created right now would be new.

The below is from the OINP FAQ page (http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL_FAQ.html):
  • I meet Ontario’s stream criteria. Why haven’t I received a Notification of Interest?
Express Entry is Citizenship and Immigration Canada application management system to manage permanent resident applications for skilled migration to Canada.

Ontario uses Express Entry (EE) to select potential nominees for permanent residence under two Ontario Express Entry Streams.

It has come to our attention that technical issues may have resulted in candidates not receiving a Notification of Interest (NOI) though they believe they meet the criteria for Ontario’s Express Entry streams. If you believe you fall into this category and have not received an NOI after one month of submitting your EE profile, we encourage you to create a new profile in the EE system. If you create a new EE profile, you must delete your old profile.

So, I am assuming a profile created within the last one month would be considered as new.

With 2750 ITAs being issued and draws happening every 2 weeks, CRS 441 is good enough to get a direct ITA.
And, could you please comment on how the OINP timeline compares with the normal FSW stream? I am thinking there should not be a difference in processing time after applying with CRS 600+. Is it true?

U guys,

Silly question:

Considering u meet all requirements for the HCP, people at or above 400 points have roughly equal chances to get a NOI??

Or if you have, for instance, 435 points on an IT NOC u have an advantage over someone who has 403 on a Financial NOC?

Cheers

I do not think it is silly. I have always wondered about this.

Is there any chance of getting OINP NOI for NOC 2121 (Biologists & related scientists) with CRS 437? Or they only issue NOI for IT guys?
Hey, another 2121 here. People are commenting that you might increase your chances of getting NOI by recreating your profile if yours is not a fairly newly submitted profile.

They have updated the FAQ and the answer to the above question is the following in the new version.

I meet Ontario’s stream criteria. Why haven’t I received a Notification of Interest?

In 2017, Ontario was allocated 2500 nomination spaces by the federal government to use with Express Entry. The number of people who are eligible for our streams and who wish to apply for a nomination may surpass that number. Because of this, not everyone who qualifies for our stream will receive a Notification of Interest. Please note that OINP monitors the intake of applications with respect to the limits of Ontario’s federal nomination allocation.

Has xxx applied to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada before? --- Should this be Yes if I have had a tourist visa in 2011 ?
Yes is the answer. Also try to locate the UCI number as you will need it to fill the forms.
Best of luck

Could you also post the link for the same?

How does one know if OINP NOI is received? Do we receive an email or need to check the GCKey account? What documents are required for OINP application submission?

If one creates a new profile, does the person need to also cancel the prevoius job bank account and re-create another one?
Is it advisable for someone around CRS 424 to recreate a new account?

My nomination took more than 6 months (got PFL for a very stupid thing which was clear on my EE profile). So not everyone get nomination within 60 days. Actually none of the july 2017 applicants got nomination within 60 days.

PNP is also slower than FSW therefore its better to wait for the CRS to drop (if your score is around 430s) than to go with nomination.
