FSW 2014 applicants from Nigeria - Let's network

Hello everyone,

Please I have these 2 questions:

1.
I live in Dubai but my mutual funds account I'm using for my POF is in Nigeria. I already got the POF statement for the mutual investment account which is 4 months old.
I was thinking of getting a similar statement from my bank here in Dubai to further proof that the money is mine but they refused to give me such letter because it's not their policy.

Is it ok for me to go ahead and use only the Nigerian statement like that?

2.
There's an error in my police report from Dubai for the date of my passport issue. Its written as "01/01/1900". This is because I renewed my passport and the system cannot recognize the new passport. I have tried to change it but only my employer has the authority to that. Now my employer is refusing to do any change for me claiming that they don't do such.

Do you think its ok for me to use it like that supported with a letter of explanation
