Score remained the same is not as good a news as it looks cause there were no IELTS exam results publishing from 30th Dec to 10th of Dec & also ECA was slow due to the break. However, the bad news is more of a shocker for most of us and nevertheless the main concern from hereon :(
Yes it's correct the applicants above crs 441 were just 2881 as on Jan 4th. Don't know what cic plans for future

Guys, CIC may continue with 2750 and still be able to meet its defined intake. They had already sent a surplus invites in 2017 first half. Majority of those will either land in late 2017 or early 2018. And I assume the defined quota is for landed candidates and not on the applications processed in an year. Additionally, 75000 is not a lot when you consider families and you can easily meet it with 2500 invites every other week.i.e. 2500*26 = 65000 invites.

I would love to be proven wrong in time, but this likely looks like the case at this moment.

PNP has a separate quota for 55000, I assume some portion goes thru EE 200 or so every other week. Rest I am not sure, how they fill up, Maybe some other mechanism.

With 2750 ITAs being issued in each draw, you should just hope and pray that the next draw happens on or before Jan 24th.
Hope you get an ITA soon! All the best!

Congrats to those who made it!

Though its still at 2750, I somehow feel that next draws would have higher number of ITAs just like last year.

Let us rally the universe for a back to back draw!

Keep it positive!
If CIC is planning to stick with 2750 ITAs, then it means more back to back or 1-week gap draws!

hello guys

is it true that once you receiced the ITA then your working visa will be expended until the time of your landing?

I am asking this because my visa will be so closed to be expired. . anyonre can advise?
Hello Krystine, Visas won't be expended even if you become PR. only the work permit will expire once you get COPR. If your visa expired you wont be able to come back to Canada. If your work permit is expiring get a bridge work permit or a open work permit
