Hi Experts,

Please help with the Travel History section of the ITA form. I am confused.

My Situation -

Last 10 years -
I lived in Country A (country of origin) from Oct 2007 to Aug 2009
Moved to Country B from Aug 2009 to Dec 2010
(During this time I made several trips to Country A to visit family/during holidays etc.)
Moved back to Country A from Jan 2011 to April 2013
Moved to Country C from April 2013 til present
(During this time I made several trips outside of the Country C to Country A and other countries)

How should I write my Travel history.

Should I mention the trip to move to country B as one trip from sep 2009 to dec 2010 and then mention the various trips to Country A (home) as separate line items? Same question for the move to Country C

I am confused how to best represent it. Please guide.

Anyone? Bump.

My situation was the same, maybe more complex. I listed out every single travel instance as separate lines.

You need to mention all trips made to B and C. You are not required to mention trips back to your home country (B to A or C to A).
However you can choose to list them all just to be safe.

I have a question regarding travel history, is it ok if we leave gaps in travel history or have to be without any gaps same like in personal history for schedule A Form?

I also have a extensive travel history. There are a lot of opinions on how it should be done. I will throw in mine too.

When I was living in country A. I just marked all my trips going out of conuntry A. All the trips. no matter where.

Then I moved to country B. I didn't mention the move in the form. As it needs a end date. So I couldn't say what the end date was. I listed all the trips going out of country B. All of them. Even to my home country.

Then I moved to country C. I didn't mention the move in the form. As it needs a end date. So I couldn't say what the end date was. I listed all the trips going out of country C. All of them. Even to my home country.

Since my trips are more than 30 (max number allowed on the form). I made an excel file where I listed all my trips. Including the one way trips when I moved to a new country. and put this detail in the remarks coloum.

Then I made an LOE where I summarized all these kind of one way trips where I moved permanently from one country to another. Mentioning that reason why I haven't listed in the online form. (being one way trips).

Is this the best way? I don't think so but I think it was the best way for me to present my information. Atleast they can't claim that I hid any of the information. :)

I would mention all trips if I were you. I don't think it's required, but I personally did and it worked out fine for me.

So in this case, mention all the trips between A and B. Then add one field with no end date for Country C where you currently live. Then add fields from (Country C to A) and (Country C to the other countries).

Just a tip: be as specific as you possibly can, otherwise CIC may get doubts whether you stayed longer in a certain country and ask you for an additional police certificate from the country you may have unspecific dates for. Happened to me

Hi guys!
Same problem here. How to include moving date from one country to another as there is no end date? You can't leave it blank - the system doesn't allow it.
