Hello
My wife is sponsoring me to come to canada, we have got no children and dependants and stuff like that. Do we still need to submit form 5406?
If that is so I will list myself (principal applicant) my spouse (sponsor) and my parents. is that correct?
thanks

1. Yes you require the 5406 to list your parents and brothers and sisters.

Yes, you must submit this form otherwise your application is considered incomplete and thus will be returned to you.
You (as Principal Applicant) must complete this form, and yes you must list your wife, your parents, and brothers and sisters including step or half siblings), if you have any.

even if my wife is the sponsor itself?

Thank you, this has helped me a lot. I was wondering if I had to fill with my spouse. He is Canadian and on the checklist, they instruct to fill the form for all the family members who are not Canadian Citizens. I was confused but I will definitely include him.
