Why not. I had exactly the same score in October, got it reevaluated and got my desirable upgrade. However, it took exactly 8 weeks for response. I appeared for the IELTS via BC Riyadh, KSA.

You are right, there is a possibility that you get the desired scored, however, you will have to wait for 8 weeks. During this time, you could have done another test and received a new result twice . So think about your situation and make the best decisions.

Exactly. I went for remark because I was confident of upgrade and I had not yet started the ECA process. So, I could afford to wait for 2 months. I got my ECA done on 8th and my IELTS EOR result on 10th December.

Hey guys,

Its holiday time and CIC is kind of slow, so there isn't much to celebrate. However, I believe 2018 is the year for all of us here. We just need to remain positive and patient. Always remember what started this dream and believe that it will soon be a reality.

Today I found out that Calgary was the first City in the Western world to elect a Muslim Mayor, Naheed Nenshi. He was born a month after his family moved to Canada as refugees from Tanzania in the 1970s. To me this is another story that say our children and grandchildren have a bright future in Canada. It really makes me wanna fight for the dream a little bit more and I hope it also inspires you too.

For the credential assessment my husband has done course by course evaluation not the immigration evaluation by WES. But in the course by course evaluation its says that his diploma is equivalent to 3 years Canadian Diploma. Does he have to get again immigration purpose evaluation or not? I guess the front page of course by course evaluation is similar to that of immigration purpose evaluation.

This is what I found below: I am not finding anything specific that says you have to definitely do immigration version of ECA. However, I would advise you call the institution and find out if it can be used.
